What did you do to your Gen 3 today?

So this shocked the hell out of me tonight. The Penske shock is 4.26 lbs (1930g) lighter than stock. Honestly from a performance aspect 1000 bucks for 4 lbs and better suspension is a hell of a deal performance wise.

??? Is the shock going to actually change the wheelbase?
No, I went from 60 to 64" wheelbase and the old shock wasn't cut out for the new geometry so I sold my original Penske to a friend and was riding around on a stock resprung shock that couldn't handle first gear pulls and was all over the place traction/mannerisms. This new one is setup for the new wheelbase and just shits and gets. Lowered the rear a little in the process so I'll have to turn the shock height up a little or just leave the nose fully strapped all the time lol. I didn't have my data logger turned on tonight but the bike feels significantly faster.

Today ? Nothing! But tonight I'll install this carbon tank protector from Cleverwolf, Japan.

I like mine and it fits pretty good. I didn’t use all of the double sided tape. Mine is mostly held on by my tech spec side tank or knee pads. Add some clear coat if you want to keep it glossy. I didn’t and mine is a lil dull from where I lie on the tank sometimes. It may buff up to a like new shine but I haven’t tried yet.

If you're gonna sell your Arata in the future when you get your turbo goodies, please post it up here. I wanna save some money!

Update for the prototype fender eliminator.

Reused the stock light board. Had to remove the leads and solder them to the backside of the board for cleaner mounting.

The new depth has increased by 3mm to accommodate the light board and wires.
Mock-up shows I may not need a lens and I can always adjust the light path opening to emit a wider broadcast..

New style light mount >$.30…. Once dialed in I’ll pot the components and seal the light slide with a cutdown piece of the original clear lens.

Cheers

Now the rear being so sleek you certainly need to change that bulky stock exhaust... :-)
Gotta find a system that I like. Stuck between the arata and akrapovic. So much money I want to make sure I’m doing what I can live with. I have looked at numerous sound clips but I would like to hear something in real life to make the call.
