What did you do to your Gen 3 today?

Yosh wheel stickers. Not sure if should have gone with red but trying the understated gray for now.

I took my 2023 on a 70 mile loop, stopped at Revzilla to pickup a tail bag and then took the long way home. Mostly highway riding but still a good opportunity to get some miles on my new Busa. I really needed to get a tail bag so I have a place for my hat, maybe a couple bottles of water, and my air compressor. I ordered this Nelson-Rigg tail bag: https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/nelson-rigg-sport-tail-bag?sku_id=1565686

I don't like wearing a backpack so I ordered a Nelson-Rigg tail bag so I have a place to store my mini air compressor, hat, glasses and maybe a couple bottles of water. It's small enough not to look obnoxious but big enough to store all the things I need for a day trip and it only cost a little over a hundred bucks shipped from Revzila. I think it looks good and goes well with the bikes lines.

Can you take a couple more pics? Same height and distance just one head on, one from the other side and one from the back looking forward.
When I’m home I’ll try to take the specific shots you are asking for but I have included the other pic I took which is from the back looking forward. I think the windshield really compliments the bike, light smoke still gives me great visibility for riding during the day and the windshield is not so much bigger than stock that it looks out of place like so many I have seen. I hope this helps.

That's perfect! I'm 6'3" and more torso than legs, only a 32" inseam, and I can't tuck behind the stock windscreen. This looks like it'll be just what I need.

Did a 150 mile loop, some interstate, some secondary roads and a few back roads which is my longest ride so far on my 2023 Gen III. I'm starting to get more comfortable on the bike, neck doesn't hurt as much, seat feels a tad better than when I took my first 100 mile ride but I still would like to add bar risers and lower the pegs a tad. All in all I'm really enjoying the bike so far.

I’m no one to keep up with, I just like riding
You will be our "Iron Butt Busa Role Model".

Scar, Thomas Michael White, rest in peace :(, had over 250,000 miles on his 2008. I've known you for a long time and you take much better care of your bike than he did of his. I had an opportunity to work on his bikes from time to time and used to give him a lot of crap.

Just keep on keep on riding, and keep up the good work.

You lead, we will follow.

I have the same one

I keep telling myself I need to chill on ordering parts but I have a problem lol. I got a set of Black Widow slip-ons last week. The 300mm oval with the carbon end caps. Just over $500 USD shipped from the UK in only 4 DAYS and I'm stoked. They are well built the clamps are the exact same ones I got with my Yosh 3/4 system I had on my FZ-10 and they even included new gaskets for where they attach at the header. You can tell they copied Yosh's homework with the link pipes and heatshields but I'm not going to complain. They sound PERFECT for me. Deep tone when I first fired the bike up I was leaning against my car in the parking lot next to the bike and I could feel the vibrations. They're not too loud at all but definitely are louder so you can finally hear the exhaust and it's a nice compliment to the intake sound of the Gen3. Of course install didn't go as smooth as it could've I somehow managed to cross thread one of the supplied hanger bolts and had to make a run to Ace to buy a cordless reciprocating saw. I'm too old and lack the patience for a hacksaw anymore. Then I just ended up reusing the stock bolts like they say to on the Yosh install instructions. Overall I'm really happy with these slip-ons and at least with the initial quality I would definitely recommend them. There is also a huge choice of muffler shapes and sizes to choose from. No I'm not affliated with Black Widow I'm just a happy customer. Now for the pics!

I went for a short lunch ride up to one of my favorite restaurants yesterday and the deer were really out to get me. Riding up NJ RT29 north of Trenton a deer is right on the shoulder of the road and I didn't see it until the last second, fortunately he didn't attempt to cross the road. I meet up with a couple riding buddies and on the way home a deer at the last second trued to jump a six foot fence and failed but if he/she had made it it would have ended up right in our path and things wouldn't have ended well for us or the deer. Made it home safe after that but wasn't so fortunate back in October 2020 when a deer stepped into my path and I totaled my bike, broke my leg and dislocated my ankle.

Oh my, ladies and gentlemen, I believe my ceramic coated TRS conversion is taking on an element of bitchin' !.

I have to drill the rivet holes, put on a badge and should be able to display it tomorrow evening for all of your approval. If someone doesn't like it, well, just don't tell the others....

Just remember, the thickness of the Yoshimura carbon fiber cap is 1mm. That means your original measurement for the reference distance for the new holes must be greater. D= sq. root of reference (r) squared plus thickness (t)squared. Don't drill exactly at original reference or your rivet holes will be short and not in line with your canister predrilled 3/16" (4.5mm)holes.
