What did you do to your other motorcycle today ?

Never been able to ride this early in the year, 36f hahaha. Weather gave a good window and took the bird out for a ride. And by window I mean not frozen solid. Been tuning and adjusting the Gripone ISIDE2 traction control system. Strange to be out riding and looking for parts of the road that will make you loose control and crash lol. So far it's been working amazingly well. Just needs some more fine tuning and I'll do a write up. Definitely worth the price.
Looking forward to any info and how you hooked it all up.

Can't wait to hear what you got!

Yeah
I had that hook up for many years.
Another friend was a State Inspector for a dozen years(eventually left auto mechanics all together).
I would text him my info and he'd bring me a sticker home, lol.
Funny but that's part of my BMW privilege! The BMW dealer sells those plates and most BMW guys use them no problem even though they are illegal. Cops look the other way. Ducati guys use them too. But putting one on a Busa is asking for a stop.

It is amazing how invisible the BMW 1250 is to cops. Guess they are too busy hassling Busa riders Haha.

I always ask my brother where his "grey poupon" holder is on his Beemers....

I've rode his several times and was always surprised at how deceptively quick they are and how quiet and efficient at speed they are. I also like sitting at a light without putting my feet down by blipping the throttle slightly....

Rode this yesterday so had to clean it up again!

My house is sold and I close Friday.
The bike couldn't go to my Dad's building because it's at the bottom of a long hill...of solid ice since last weekend, with little melting in sight.
My friend chose to ride it out to BFE(middle of nowhere) to his cousin's shop temporarily, as his driveway was semi-clear.
My driveway, getting from the garage to the street, also solid ice, and 26°f.
He decided to ride it up, ok, it's doable...but should be interesting...and it was.
He put it in C mode, TC on...and it never spun the tire...pretty impressive.
Finally a practical use for that stuff...ice.
Who knew, lol.

Lol...your guess is as good as mine.
It was how the kit was sold.
We didn't find out til after that it could've been ordered in plain cf.
He has a plain cf seat cowl too, which really changes the look.
The translator doesn't know what it is either....I tried a few...

Would have been nice if it was plain...

Is it actual CF or ABS with a CF pattern?

No, not real cf.
It's black abs, hydro-dipped cf pattern, stickers applied, then clear coated.
$900 for the whole kit.
The Puig winglets were seperate, around $200, and a nice high quality gloss black finish. He took the sides pieces of them to the local guy that does hydro-dipping, $40 for that, but a very nice job.
My friend vinyl wrapped the gas tank cf himself.

I'll have to ask him if he knows what sponsor that RYUYO or whatever is...he just left...was texting his buddy who's in sales at a Suzuki dealer about 45 min south of here(in my state)
They have a black gen3, and he's going to get me an otd price monday.

I looked at both for the Bumblebee....the actual CF was crazy.....crazy priced...

I could have got ABS CF hydro dipped for about 1/3 the costs...I would have to get actual CF inlets for the nose fairing as they don't make those in faux-CF.

The rear CF signal pods I got were around $250.....that opened my eyes to just how much it costs to go CF...

I could go all ABS faux CF but there'd be no weight savings...
