ordered the case, power supply, mobo, ram, wfi and antenna, BT, power distrib.. , PMR barswitches and some other crap today yay

got the mobo and RAM in. orders the SSD and the usb video thingy. the both went on sale today Video recorder 79.99 and SSD 199.99 saved like 80 bucks

Gotta do some trimming on the storage mod but its starting to come together. Still waiting on parts.

Ordered the 8.4" touch screen, the Garmin Mobile PC GPS unit and some custom cables. All will be here next week.

CPU for 4 cameras recording, GPS, Winamp, and Ride Runner (frontend). Ride runner is the program that brings everything together and will be the only program you can see when i attach the touchscreen.

Where you see the gauge button on RR, that is where i am going to attempt to embed Petrik's ECU editor. I just have to have a way to call it.

I am also going to try to embed (or something) the recording software so the 4 cameras are center in RR and i use RR buttons to manipulate.

So things have slowed down a bit. waiting on some special cables. Also regretting my monitor purchase and case purchase. I had to mod the case way too much and shoulda looked harder for another one. and instead of a regular touch screen, i need a transflective and probably waterproof screen that is 4-5x the price.... anyway got one camera mounted and finishing up the wiring while i wait on my power supply to come back.

So I came to a stopping point. Gotta do some programming and order the other 3 cameras. also have to buy the usb cable to flash the ECU. The first PMR switch is the computer on/off switch.

UPDATE:

I got another case that is much smaller.

EP3000U4 Fanless Mini ITX Case with 4 USB Ports

with a 125w PicoPSU. much better fit.

did some more modding on the undertail and have pretty much decided that Im going to need a custom undertail to make it look nice. Got the monitor mounted thanks to KillerRudy.
