What is yours

Not everyone sees through "God's" eyes. Remember, the Constitution expressly protects freedom of religion. Besides, Christians are the most egregious sinners of all. What's really ironic is that judging another person is a sin in God's eyes.
Christianity is dwindling out of existence......while other religions are growing stronger..

Many of our Christian churches here have been converted to Mosques or Temples.

The global percentage is 30% for Christians and 25% Muslim......out of that percentage that tells me these are people who identify as Christian but aren't devout or practicing their faith...

I would say out of the 25% Muslims, they are all devout and follow their religious followings.....I found the Muslims of Bosnia to be the less stringent of the Islamic people I've encountered but even they all follow their religious guidelines....

See, the US and Canada had a very different approach to how we treated our indigenous peoples, we worked with our and made treaties which benefitted both sides, although there were instances where battles were fought, we never went into encampments and butchered any of them unlike the US Calvary...

This sort of action caused the indigenous tribes to revolt and we saw how that went at the "Little Big Horn" and other battle sites across the US.

We never had an "Indian War" here in Canada.

Yep, the US were getting desperate as to how they could settle America.....they went to extreme measures to do so.

I'm one of those who are torn between two worlds, I have indigenous ancestry and have served in the military most of my life..

I have read most anything I could get hold of on the indigenous culture and have had the privilege of working with many different indigenous peoples....it was sad to see how many of them have lost their noble stature, their way of life was quite honorable at one time.

There seems to be quite a few dark times in American history....

All the school stuff with child porn in the libraries? Never heard about that stuff? Why is the LBGT agenda preached to children by teachers all over? Why is it so important they need to teach kids about it? It’s sin in Gods eyes. To be an ally to them is to go against Gods word.
No I don’t have knowledge of any child porn in school libraries. It’s as wrong there as it is anywhere. LBGTQ is not preached, it’s explained as are other subjects. I’m not sure at what age it’s proper to include this subject or whether it needs to be explained or taught.
As to your claim that homosexuality is a sin in your God’s eyes, that applies in your belief system, perhaps your church, of which I am not a part.
I’ll make my own judgements. I say this with all due respect for people and their religious faiths, just ask that they respect me as well.

To be gay means a male likes males, and females like females.
As a Christian hypocrit, I disagree with that lifestyle personally, but do not hate anyone, and treat them with the same deserving respect as the next person.
A misconception of Christianity is that God hates gay people, and that is not so, it is that God hates the act...not the person.
I also think that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, thoughts, and free will. That you can be whomever you want in this life, so long as it's within the law.
To push your lifestyle on others is bad enough, then to try and force acceptance, and with threats, all while presenting this to children, in books, shows, and in person.
There was a time when trans people were diagnosed accordingly...as mentally ill.
That isn't hard to comprehend.
If you belive that you are the opposite sex that you were born, or something else, fine, your choice, but don't expect me to belive it too.
Don't tell me an adult male can go into the women's public bathroom behind my daughter, or Any girl or woman.
Don't tell me the same guy can compete on my daughter's sports team, and be in their locker room with them.
Live the dream, be whatever in your head, but don't try to get everyone else play along with your delusions.
Gay men and gay women are happy in their locker rooms too, lol, it's not the same as a male creeping in a women's locker room, and if a woman wanted to come in the men's locker room...no one's going to stop her...
See the differences?

LOL, I have some personal experience in that regard.

But, what brings you to that perception? I think if you look you will find bad and good anywhere in all walks of life.

I was raised strict Christian, finished all my Sunday School classes and tried to be a good Christian, went to church every Sunday. But then we get a science education and start asking questions. So, today I respect all 4,000 religions on the planet and have no opinion about anything or any religion. I think the key is not to judge folks, no matter what they believe in.

But here is the thing:

I employed a guy who had a degree in Theology and did Christian missions all over the world, to find out he is an addict, and one of the biggest crooks I have ever personally met.

Then I dealt with an attorney, who also had a degree in Theology, to find out he is a scum bag and would take money wherever he can, even working against his clients interests, just to prolong the cases and harvest more Dollars.

Somewhere I ran a large factory on an island, where there was a lot of tribal culture and superstition. Lots of Christian churches and they were all exremely profitable businesses with wealty Pastors. Cash cows.

I agree on the sports, locker room and bathroom deals. Maybe trans people need their own locker and restroom. I don't think transgenders are mentally ill but my opinion doesn't matter.

As far as God loving or hating an act, I will say again I respect, and in some cases admire, everybody's right to their faith, but "God says" and "the Bible says" should not be used as a basis in debate unless it's only to explain why that person feels that way. Pardon me but to me it's like referring to a scene out of a movie to show how things are in the real world..

Hey Bro you won't get any disagreement from me. I did the Sunday School thing and even was a cub scout. Studyed religion in college (historical, not theological).

As frar as pushing their position with violence, are you referring to gay people or heterosexual people?

Do you mean like Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet? You know where 12-year-old kids sneak away and do the nasty?

This case was trans people.
Heterosexual people kill people daily for any and every reason regardless.
Gay people are stereotypically non violent as a majority.
There are also alot of gay people that want nothing to do with the whole lgbtq crowd, but those stories don't get much attention.
I know and have known several gay people throughout my life, and never had a problem with any of them.
They are/were open about it, but never brought it up or pushed it on anyone.
They are simply people just living their lives, like most people, bothering no one...cool, you do you.
Trans? Nope, for all the reasons I listed above. That's mental illness.
No, not sorry, is what it is.

My experience with gay people is like yours. Never a problem. Your last thought, is what it is, I understand that’s your take. That’s fine except you forgot the it’s my opinion part. Sure, it’s implied; most of what we're saying here are our opinions, but your unsubstantiated leap to a conclusion of mental illness doesn't sit well with me. In debate it's called conjecture. I'm probably just too literal a person.

I'm with @sixpack577 on this...I firmly believe transgenderism is a mental illness....being gay is one thing, pretending to be another gender is another.

Three was a time when they were called transvestites and nobody thought this was a normal state of mind....now it's called transgender and it's supposed to be accepted by all..

If someone actually does the complete sex change, that's a whole other animal although I know a couple people who've done this (male to female) and they regretted it...both of them are living a "lesbian" lifestyle if that makes any sense...
