Just posted about this yesterday. Bought an Arai Signet GT, twilight silver. Very light, nice and quiet, $299 from helmetshop.com, they got it to me in two days. Go to bottom of page below for pics, nice match for a blue/silver Busa. Last two sets of pics are the helmet and the Busa with the helmet sitting on it in some shots:

A Bullson helmet.

Why. Full carbon with silver accents. A sub 2lbs helmet can't beat and the carbon weave looks incredible. Everone who sees the helmet wants one.

One the track I wear a bell helmet. It was a good deal and a track helmet gets thrown awya regularly. Besides, wind noise and other minor anoyances are noticable on the track.

Arai rx7 rr4 Read replica model.

I like the way it fits my head; It is light, and the shape goes thru the air well....

I like it better than my AGV.

I went to a shoei xsp and custom painted it to match the 'busa. it is a very quiet and light weight helmet. they are now xsp-2. Since the helmet was so custom painted, I needed another one for my cbr. I went with the HJC. for the money, it is a nice helmet-kind of like a low end generic shoei. There are so many choices, that most dealers can't stock enough different types, especially high $ types. I have never minded showing my helmets to any riders that are trying to choose-stop by the local hangout.

I bought a AXO Full Carbon Fiber Race helmet.
This was Purchased in Vicenza Italy -- I feel near NAKED with it on.....awesome feel.

PS: Unavailable in the USA Market -- AXO normally sell DirtBike Gear.

Have an Arai Signet/E & Shoei RF800.

Overall I prefer the Shoei. Quieter, roomier in the chin/lips area, & very easy to change shield. One big thing about the RF800 is the shield has ratcheting stops. THus, you can position the shield only slightly open or halfway open to full open without the wind blowing it shut. Makes a big difference when you're riding through fog!

THe Signet/E is noisier than the RF800. Shield takes longer to replace(feels like you're breaking it). Chinbar area is too close to my mouth. No ratcheting system for the shield. The Arai does have superior paint & graphics quality.

If I had to do it over again, I'd stay with the Shoei RF800.

Arai Signet (last year's model).

It fits my head perfectly. A bit oval (no jokes guys). I bought it a touch on the small side so it is a bit of an ordeal to get on and off. But once it is on, what a fit. My head and my helmet are one. If I did a lot of short trips taking the helmet on and off alot I would go up one size.

To my knowledge there is no 'quiet' helmet. 70 mph on the highway and you are looking at +100 db (usually much more) in your helmet so wear yer earplugs.

Just go get an Arai. I have the Quantum f raptor blue/white with light smoke shield(dark smoke looks awesome). You can never ever go wrong with Arai. Besides, when some biker know it all on a BMW tries to race, you can show him you mean business with your Busa and you wearing the Arai. He should know better.

Use only Arai. Have an RX7-RR3 but my favorite for high speed and dragracing is my old Arai Signet with two dioids just below the eye vents that light up when the shift light comes on.

After I tried all models almost, I found that QuantumE fits the best. I have a wide
head and QuantumE has the largest width inside.
