What Would Make The Hayabusa Exciting Again?

and there inlies the rub.... launch control... wheelie control... traction control... in my opinion its a waste,,, horsepower and speed is the name of the game.,, any enthusiast would never call any busa an outdated fat bike... if ya got 18-20 gs to spend.. put it in ure current hayabusa and itll be better than anything you can buy... stop bullshitting, or stay on your bicycle.

It's not about massive power to most. That's why bikes like the H2R are very low volume offerings. The magic of the busa is not how much power it makes, it's that it is a really great bike that also happens to be very fast. If you want a bike to sell at the volumes Suzuki needs it to, they will need more than huge power.

it became what it is because it was the fastest thing on two wheels... look it up in your Funk and Wagnall.. that's the recipe professor... we all know it.... now lets lace em up and go for the KO... Suzuki for president... take that negativity to the Kawasaki websites with their exploding superchargers.

Hey this is a serious conversation James.. You can't just thow a comment like that out in the middle of a discussion and expect me to not spit coke on my monitor...

You asked for posts.... I am a little pissed that no one complimented my photo chop on the B-King turning it into a KTM!

That post was so nice you posted it twice?

I personally think the Gen 3 has to continue the fastest / most power path , in the same hyper class as Gen2 is . The bike if a continuation of Gen 2 , will be a bike that can still be taken on long distance rides , be able to handle competently in the twisties , and also be a 1/4 mile bike and top end highway blaster . Take Kawasaki head on , cause another scare about bikes being too fast like the '99 did and we get another 10 years out of the Hayabusa .

done deal.... simple. until 2014 ford sold a 5.0 mustang coyote.... I own one..... and its a great car and they sold a ton!!! its a live axle car... 60s technology

and its a GREAT car.... its not a pushrod motor... and it has power windows.... if I had my way.. it would have crank windows and a 429... for 28900

Actually Willie I was going to but I was on my phone and not my computer so a long Kudos was just going to happen. I was actually pretty impressed and suprised that no one had ever really put something together like that. Nice work!

Hopefully we'll see in about 6 months. The fact that there are no solid leaks is a bit scary because usually something gets out if there really is something on the level of a new Hayabusa out there. It would be finished and undergoing road testing right now. Hard to keep that quiet and if you're Suzuki why would you? Ducati has been guiding their fans toward the new V4 for over a year now. It's very risky to drop a big change on people with no warning. To me BNG's with a turbo is just a little less boring than only BNG's. And remember the H2R is not a road bike - track only. A 280 hp road bike would be an interesting thing for a manufacturer to pull off, but that's still not a mass appeal bike. I don't think Suzuki is looking to sell only 1,000 new Busas........

OK, I bored myself!

WTF are you talking about? Why do you post multiple posts within a few minutes of each other?
