started riding on cr80 in the mid 80's, moved up to a cr125, rode several friends bikes for a time cuz my parents werent tooo keen on me having my own street bike View attachment 541466 finally purchased a Ninja 250R in '91 to ride at school .... wound up drivint it darn near EVERYWHERE View attachment 541467 Then a CBR600F2, then a GSXR1100 that was modified a ton for drag racing....someone decided they wanted it more than I did and stole that one View attachment 541468 and after a few years break, I got my 02 busa. I'm considering a vrod or some other sporty cruiser type as a stablemate in the not too distant future. Also looking to possibly add a Buel Blast for the girlfriend to learn to ride on...or maybe a katana600 View attachment 541469

I've driven a lot of different bikes and the busa is still king (though I do miss the off roading with a 2 stroke sometimes View attachment 541467 )

Bought a new 2002 GSXR 600 when I was 21 years old, first bike I ever rode. Rode for 2 seasons, sold to step brother. Took one ride on a buddies Busa and then bought a new 2004 Busa. It has totally exceeded any and all expectations.
 
I was going to buy a cruiser like my brother's Intruder but I thought I'd buy a small bike to learn on. Got a 89 GS500E and put 15k miles on it. I kept seeing the GSXRs at the shop and decided to move up one step to a Katana, went to the shop and in two minutes I was sitting on a 92 GSXR 750. (good salesman, I still keep in touch with him) That bike was stolden, so I got a 93 GSXR, put 75k miles on it and sold it and got the 02 Busa in Oct 01. 59k miles on it so far...

View attachment 541532 Nice. Too many people buy a bike, then let it sit in a garage for 360 days of the year. It's nice to see someone else who isn't afraid to get a rain drop or a speck of dirt on their machine. Commuting in a cage really sucks. I avoid it at all costs.

Current dirt bike is a 95 501 Husaberg Enduro..pops sweet 3rd gear wheelies at will--ouch my shoulder hurts at 53 now.
And had a 75 Honda CR125 and traded for a 51 Chev Belair.
Gawwd i love two wheels--and am greatful to do it today- 1st to second speed shift--on 1\30\05--Busafied..no it's PaceM.
Uh--88 KX500 rocked my world too.--never raced in MX with it. Tried a comback in MX etc-and got my a__ kicked in 04 on the Husaberg.
