Hmm lets see going on my 4th year of riding now and i've had more then one bike a year how sad in a way needs to figure out what i need and settle down kinda ridicular

started riding in 02

99 suzuki marauder, decent starter bike but just not enough power or big enough for me View attachment 542178 put 3000 miles on it (sold)

99 Honda VFR Bought it August of same year put 6000 miles on it before winter ):O (sold)

That really sucks.  I can only imagine how pissed you were.  How badly were you hurt?  I hope not too bad.  The LE is just around the corner...
Thanks for the concern Warbrown. My wife and I sustained minor injuries (she has a hairline fracture on her elbow and I had hard contusion to the groin area. Most likely from the gastank). We were both wearing our gear so we were both very fortunate to be alive and not paralyzed. Aside from that, HELL YEAH I'm pissed (AND BUMMED)that I lost my first Busa just because some irresponsible cager decides to illegally make a U-Turn in the middle of the road. As soon as the swelling subsides I'd like to get my hands on an 05 LE. Gotta take care of the insurance and medical settlements first.

OUCH! Wow, I'm glad you both walked away in fairly good shape after that one...so sorry to hear about it though...

I also owned a kz triple something,  Mid 70's I think.  Project bike in college. '86  I rewired the whole thing only using black wire.(hint, don't do this!) As well as what's posted below. I was on that ninja 900 for fourteen years! I can ride the hell out of that bike!

Let me see. I've only been riding for (I'm 34 now. I started riding at 14), 20 years, I guess. Here's my list:

1976 Honda CR50 (donated)
1973 Yamaha AT3 125cc (recycled)
1979 Suzuki 400cc Enduro (sold)
1980 Yamaha Maxim 550 (logged about 35,000 it. It has over 64,000 on it now. Bought it wrecked in 1986 and rebuilt it. I still have it in the garage)
2003 Kawasaki ZR-7S (bought used with 212 miles. Sold after 2200 miles)
2004 Suzuki Hayabusa LE (Still trying to remove the smile. I might need cosmetic surgery for it.)

Thanks Michelle. Just received official word from my attorney that the adjuster said that my 05 Busa with only 1200 miles is a total loss. It's sad day yet I wouldn't wanna ride something that's been in a hard collision. I do plan on getting a new one but for right now, it's time to heal....
