What's your motorcycle geneology?

My busa was my 1st bike ever.
B4 that, I ve ridden bikes maybe 5 times in my life.  I was mature about it, and respected it immediately, and got used to it.  Now, I like to think I am a seasoned busa pilot, but like many, I wouldn't recommend the busa as a first bike.  I guess some can handle it, and some cant.
I've noticed over the years that whenever I think and ride like I'm a "seasoned pilot", I usually have a minor scare or slip-up that will put me back in my place. If you've ever taught someone to ride, you'll notice that they are careful and cautious in the parking lot and intitial foray onto the streets. It's only after they get that initial surge of confidence that they usually have their first run-in with a curb or brake too hard in a turn, etc. No matter how many years of experience we might have, it only takes one brain fart or bike-night moment of bravado to bring us quickly back down to reality. Just a thought... Ride safe all.

yea.....i agree. a few times, there were some scares, but luckily i stayed calm and things were ok. i think if you go thru some or those scares, you learn a thing or 2 from it.
Now, i'm in the market for a 1k
