Who Rode Today?

Hey! Ya cheeky beggar!
Anyway, we don’t have semi trucks here... this ain’t big ol’ America here, we have teeny weeny roads that can only fit vans and cars and bikes, no big ass freeways like you have there in AMERICA.
:moon:
I think we should make a Gofundme page and get @WuzzaCBXRider a givi setup. I bet he’ll love being able to secure his belongings and change his mind about the looks.

The “May rain” finally arrived here.......... 2 months late. I took the concours14 out on a 200+ mile trip to Orlando and back and was lucky enough to only get really light rain. I did end up ruining my iPhone 11 Pro’s fancy cameras on the trip. I thought all the talk about handlebar vibrations killing these phone’s cameras was B.S, but I’m a believer now. Luckily, apple was kind enough to fix under warranty, but I’m trying to figure out if there is a better mount that provides more isolation or I could just join @fallenarch club and get a smooth bimmer.

No thanks. For any distance the hump stays home and my seat bag does the job.

Got the same thing going here in NZ . .
I reckon it’s gotta be the ageing of the biker generation, we all need softer seats and higher handlebars for our creaky old backs and sore shoulders and necks lmao.
Combined with very few young guys of the next generation interested in riding bikes, we will see less sport bikes every year.
I think you are right about younger riders not having as much interest as well as the older riders opting for comfort due to injury history age etc....

The Busa has proven itself in pouring rain my friend! On a legendary trip to The Dragon for a Bash we road in gushing rains for 9+ hours each way. Busa did fantastic. I did have to shut down all electricals because a short was bound to happen with everything water-logged.

Man that’s a FAT bag you have there! Gone for a month? I made some extended bungee bolts, about 3” longer to accommodate the tie downs. Used two HD bungees crisis crossed and two nets so I could switch jackets and carry a cover outside the bag but under the netting.

Camping gear: tent, bag, cookware, backpack, bike cover, clothing, food...it felt like a month and I did over pack on the food but the bag and the bike didn't seem to mind

I only camped on one tour from NorCal thru OR, ID, MT, WA and back thru OR into CA and what got to me was making camp (before dark) and breaking camp (loading back up) e v e r y d a y!!! Camping in one spot, setting up and sticking around for a few days is one thing but moving every day, packed on a bike is just too much! Never tented either, mummy bag only. Never again! I prefer a comfy bed under a roof, a shower, eats nearby and a good remote.

Out of curiosity, how/what have you mounted the phone now?

Pretty easy call buddy, BMW. I can ride that bike fast forever. Busa accelerates like a Saturn V but the Beemer wins most other places and its considerable easier to ride.
I’m gonna add something to the stable trying to be patient as I would prefer to take care of some low hanging fruit first but if the right deal comes along I might have it sooner than later
