Who Rode Today?

Took the KTM for a decent blast after adding the carbon wheels, just when I thought it handled decent with the active suspension and reasonable weight out of the box, it’s transformed it into a cornering weapon.

Still waiting on the Remus exhaust and intake upgrade to arrive.

It's going to be a weapon. Close to a be all one at that. Cumfort, speed, handling and distance crusher.

Well I'm smoked but back home after 4k+ miles to Orlando, FL and back. Gonna go sleep for about 12 hours. The Gulf coast is a damn good ride. I need to go back and finish it one day. It got cut short with an accident/road closure and then severe thunderstorms. Staying in New Orleans was cool. Everything west of Lafayette was kind of lame, not a big fan of Houston, BBQ in Dallas was amazing and stay away from central Texas it's the middle of spring and it's already in the triple digits. That was tough to ride through.

I got out for a short ride...went out to see a buddy of mine and ended up talking for a couple hours..

On the way home one of my neighbors heard me somewhere....when I was just outside he came over and said I must have a quickshifter and is it factory...I told him it is an aftermarket unit and he mentioned is sure is smooth sounding when I'm accelerating.

I told him the gen 3 Hayabusas come with a factory quickshifter (and all the other electronic suite as well as cruise control) he was impressed with that.

Went for a 2 hour blast on my neighbor's new Z900RS on Sunday . . he was going to work and asked me to look it over for damage and said he wanted me to ride it and give my opinion, nice guy huh.
wow! beautiful bike, so smooth and plenty of power, close ratio gearbox fantastic Brembos, Ohlins shock, comfy seat, just lovely . . .
notice the Busa in the garage? Yeah . . . sulking . . but I rode the old girl when I got back from riding the Z.

Hey Bill, the lawn is looking shabby without the usual meter of snow on it lmao!
when did the snow go away?

I would be happy with that mileage.
That tire is done.
I wouldn't be scared to ride it though(I've had 2 rear tires blow out riding, nothing to it, lol), it just doesn't have very much left.

Went on a short ride to a cigar shop and back. Smoked while admiring the busa. I have started to consider finding a riding buddy but it feels more difficult then dating. Hard to find someone with the same riding style.

Well. I wanted to ride but my rear is not looking so good at just 5300 miles.
I do have a new Road 6 but it’s 190/55/17… anyone running that size on a Gen3? What can I expect or should I swap it out?

I can't imagine the 190/55 being any different on the gen 3 then the gen2. Id say run it and you'll probably be extra happy with it. I couldn't find a 55 in the tires I just put on when I ordered them so I went back to the 90 and kind of wish I would of kept looking for the 55.

Thanks man, I was hoping for some feedback. Was getting worried nobody had an opinion. I know it will be a tad taller and tip in more pronounced but I wasn’t sure if there was something I’d be missing… I’ll probably go back to a 50 in the Road6 later just to compare what I like.
Thanks again.
