Hi. I did not get out but I got the Kawasaki running so much easier to start than the HD. Pin the battery push button starts right up. Next is the HD.Glad u finally got out….and saw the deer.
Yep, they're out in force now. I saw a bunch this weekend. Be careful everyone. I talked to a guy this weekend who told me hit and deer and crashed like me. Only difference, he went into the woods. An 8" tree trunk was snapped (had to have been the bike) and the guy's helmet was found with the chin strap still fastened. The strap must have stretched and the helmet flew off like Marco Simoncelli. This guy got a concussion obviously and fractures to his vertebrae, ribs and leg and a couple others I think. He lived though and is still riding. "If I'm going to die, I'll die doing something I love," he said. ...maybe how it works is after you crash, you have to switch to a more comfortable, less fast bike and the odds even out!
