Well it dropped to 91 at dusk so I packed the bike for a short test fit and ride. The tail bag feels nice and snug and doesn’t move around. Time, curves, mountain roads and miles will tell the truth. Same setup as the Busa but the first time loading up the Z.

I forgot when I rode to my buddy's home yesterday, he was setting up his winter car...a 2022 Challenger....

He gets a chuckle of the looks on their faces when he tells the Challenger guys this is his "winter beater."

Anyone drive anything fast other than a busa? Im not thinking about regular cars like stock stangs or camaros. Im talking serious street machines with engine work and or power adders. I roll a old nos 97 ws6 with 450 rwhp. Mild engine and chassy work and dyno tuned. Its old but its still...

Yes the Busa sure was , found out that the ninja sponsor was a band .

Holy crap! Haven't seen one of these in forever! Didn’t help that the States only got them for 4yrs. I had an RF900 and absolutely loved that thing! Nice ride!!
I have the matching Vanson leather jacket to this color!!

No ride today. Ordered a quick detach kit to take the tour pack off though. Almost pulled the trigger on the cam chest and oil pump upgrade. I’ll have it up on one by next year

What year is your M8? If it’s newer than 2020 I wouldn’t bother with cam chest and oil pump. Sumping is solved after 19. Just did stage 2 on mine and totally different bike now. Builder told me don’t waste the money on that stuff. He builds and races HD and builds reliable 128, 131s on the daily.

Those and the 900 were very underrated....but they were great bikes.

I just did Stage 2 and here are the details
S&S 475c, S&S lifter guides/cups, custom lifters (brand escapes me but my guy swears by them instead of S&S which is what I would’ve put in it) Fueling crank sprocket, S&S intake manifold, full KromeWerks exhaust, Power Vision tuned (license only) by All American Cycles in South FL.
My bike is a 22 so I don’t have the sumping issues that’s why I didn’t do the cam chest or oil pump. I did do lifters just because I’ve heard HD lifters are prone failing.
Made 119hp and 131tq. Bike feels and runs amazing and those numbers are on par with many similar builds and some better builds that I’ve found on Fuel Motos data site.

If you haven’t already, go look up FM site and see all the dyno sheets with different combos there.

Blasting the lanes with no ear plugs for a change

Bike seems louder with more cc’s
