Who Rode Today?

I know all them little towns you listed, I’m heading to Floral City tomorrow and possibly Bellsview. Planning on 170ish miles. Riding with a couple of Harley friends.
I’ve been to a lot of little towns in Florida and enjoy them. Just have to watch out for sand and the random animals on the road. I was trying to put some miles on the bike today since I was off and the better half was working. Don’t think I’ll be able to do any riding this weekend. Weather is perfect right now, that’s for sure. Hope you enjoy your ride!!

I’ll get a ride in tomorrow before I pull the trigger on the ohlins rear shocks. Harley stockers are krap
I just went Ohlins. Had to reset the preload for the gear that will be on the bike while on the way to The Dragon. I do like them and going 13s was a huge improvement in tip in… lol saying “tip in” on a Harley just sounds weird but yeah it’s better in the curves now for sure and no more tail wag on the long sweepers… I think… you’re gonna like them!

Which ones did you go with? I’m looking at the HD 044s

150+ miles on friday, perfect weather, almost no traffic at all, and over 60 miles of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Va
A friend went with me on his Buell Blast.
He rides it for all it's worth too, so no trouble keeping up, lol

I’d buy a blast if I could find one
Lol, he looked for a long time to find one too, but, after about a year of owning it I'm sure he'll sell it and buy something else at any time.
He's talked about another 600 or 1k.
I was Shocked at just how much fun to ride the Blast is though, and for all it is, it has good handling and acceleration.
We put a rear tire and front brake pads on recently too, and I was suprised at just how well engineered it is.
It's the only Buell that I've ever ridden or worked on, and even though it's the smallest one they ever made, I've been really impressed with it.
When he started talking about getting one, I laughed, and then I laughed when he brought it over, and again as I took it for a ride...and then I ate crow...as I couldn't hide how much I liked it when I came back, lol.
As Always, ride Everything you ever get the chance to...you never know what will suprise you.

So how much of a noticeable difference did you feel and under what conditions? Only when pushing it or straight out the driveway?

Right out of the driveway is not going to be much different and to those raving about that they can tell the difference … that’s the $1500 talking.
Now out and about especially on long sweepers where on the stock shocks the bike would “waggle” in the rear… felt like the rear was letting go then grabbing… on the Ohlins… it’s night and day! Way more planted. %100 worth it for me

That’s what I needed to hear. The HD boards all brag about this one or that one. But yea, mostly the money talking. Thanks for the feedback. That helped me decide to go in and pull the trigger on them.
