Got in 176 miles today and saw some horse and (mules)? and a beautiful lake too.
Damn,,,,,,,,I miss the Smokies looks like you had a great day.Got a 130 miles of social distancing today, wasn’t even expecting to ride today but the wife’s plans got cancelled lucky me. Left home under a big rain cloud, about 10 miles later a light drizzle-sprinkle began but I knew I’d ride through it in another few miles. Been raining the past few days so I knew what to expect on the secondary roads so I only used them as shortcuts as necessary. Filled up then next stop was at the park to watch the horses jump. Then rode over to the Lake and hit the ice cream shop. Saw a black snake crossing the road which always freaks out the wife and plenty of wild turkeys no deer today though. A few pics excuse the bike it’s filthy from the rain and all the crap on the road.

Did he have his new bride on the back?Rubb rode into my driveway. No pics.
Fantastic line up of bikes there brother, I so wish I was riding with you guys . . over here in NZ the whole sportsbike thing is almost dead, plus with a small population and shrinking economy, who can afford it these days??View attachment 1619598
Had a nice little ride out today, close to 200 miles all together. Unfortunately after one guy getting a ticket for 112 in a 70 and then passing an obscene amount of cops and having at least one new rider most of the riding was done close to the speed limit . I did get to put my old regular double bubble windscreen on and think it may have helped a little with the turbulence didn't get to really test it.
Wish you could have been there to ride as well and show these punks what a busa can do in the few turns we came across, I do what I can but by no means am I a master of what I know the bike is capable of. Around here the sportbike scene is still pretty strong im learning it's just all gone to social media and group chats to find riders. As u see we had 1 older guy on a zx14 and this guy made it look smaller then @Mr Brown makes his busa look and he was not scared of running and leaning it and stayed right with the one white zx10 thru the corners. That zx10 is built pretty well so much so that I had to get a good launch on him on one of our light to light runs but did gap all of them pretty good, but on the next one I heard his quick shifter doing its thing and he was right with me but I blamed that one on me pulling the clutch back in when I felt the front tire lift. Of course that kid does track days quite often and is a monster in the turns and leaves no chance for me to catch him in a turn. I am hoping to get some raising links for the rear to help with my turn in and maybe before the season is out get my bike on the dyno and tuned and then I can keep the busa pride alive.Fantastic line up of bikes there brother, I so wish I was riding with you guys . . over here in NZ the whole sportsbike thing is almost dead, plus with a small population and shrinking economy, who can afford it these days??
Just be careful out there, we don't need another Busa in the woods....Wish you could have been there to ride as well and show these punks what a busa can do in the few turns we came across, I do what I can but by no means am I a master of what I know the bike is capable of. Just came in from a sad day in the saddle. Went to the burial og a friend and fellow Busa rider. Afterwards we went for a tribute ride.

Stopped at a local restaurant to share some memories. Cancer got him at 50years, i hate cancer!
88'F here and it's only 1100hrs....add the humidex and it's in the mid '90s...
Too hot to ride for this old chicken...did a few things outside and am soaked with sweat as the high humidity makes it so the sweat doesn't evaporate...
Found a few indoor things to do in the AC...
