After owning 4 F-150s back to back, I went to Ram as I didn't like the aluminum bodies on the F-150s...This was my first new vehicle.
It has a 6 year/100k mile warranty and maintenance plan, so the first vehicle I don't have to do anything to but drive...and get ready to drive far to the dealer I got it from, as the locals are idiots on a whole different level.
Regardless, when I got it, I went over it with some standard and metric wrenches out of curiosity, and yeah...Ford still uses both, lol.
A former colleague of mine bought a 2020 Platinum Limited and while washing it last summer noticed a crack in the paint on the rear panel over the tire. Nobody around here can do anything with the aluminum so it had to be shipped 5 hrs away for repair. It came back with flaws so off it went again....he was pretty cranky but after 3 weeks he has it back again...he told a buddy of his with a new F-150 about it and he also said he had a crack on the front fender...
In the meantime, my truck with 20,000kms on it started to get rust on the painted rear bumper...after a good fight, I got a new bumper from Ram.
I recall back in the '90s the paint issues Ford had....a friend of mine had a new Taurus SHO and chunks of paint would fly off the hood...and Ford would do nothing.
