Why is it?

That's assumed.....

Carriers will be the primary target and all technical weaponry will be focused on them...

I'd wager their life expectancy will be very limited.

Nuclear submarines are noisy, even the latest versions....they can be quickly detected.
I'm not convinced about the detectabiity of the nuclear subs. Ohio class is supposed to be pretty quiet.

I watched something about a huge sewage spill in California which shut down a beach....

Even though there were clear signs telling people to not go in the water, the crew interviewed some imbecile and his family that went in the water.....then said they had better go shower...

Why is it that some people are so stupid?

People are just stupid, it's a known fact.

Just think. There was a time like a year ago, where people were eating Tide Pods.

And they breed at some point.

Those "stupid" people, that might suffer some form of harm from it, will hire an attorney to collect damages. Because they will argue a sign won't be sufficient. They should have been providing full-time patrol. To stop stupid people from acting stupid.

Signs on the side of laundry detergent weren't sufficient to stop stupidity.

This is kind of a "why is it" I know several police officers who live in our neighborhood, one is an MP and the others are OPP (basically state police), the MP is married to one of the OPP officers and she's a tiny wee thing...

The why is it to this is, many of these police officers in their own vehicles generally don't stop at stop signs or use signal lights in our neighborhood....lots of people know they are police as well.....I know for a fact they would be all over someone for not doing this while they are patrol....

A "why is it" that is kind of annoying...

I watched a video of a blogger riding a gen 3....the guy didn't know anything about the bike prior to riding it.....

I don't know why this person didn't do some prior research before he did his video so he had the basics down...?

For instance, he didn't know it had a quick shifter amongst other features.....

Went to "Wally-Mart" due to a list left for me this morning from '9er Domestic....

There sure are some "special" people there....

One lady had a shirt on that read "one sexy lady" and she wasn't.....not by a long shot...she had more chins than a Chinese phone book for starters...and a rotten attitude for the remainder......

There was a lady there who was probably in her mid '70s and at one time she was probably pretty...but those days have long eluded her although she hasn't let them go....she had leopard print spandex on with a short shirt and what appeared to be a great big wig....and make up applied with a mason trowel...

One guy looked like he walked right off the work site and never bothered to dust himself off...he left a trail of dirt and debris behind him when he walked..

........and I was only there for a few minutes....I can only imagine what they encounter in the run of a day.....

Why is it there is a committee for each and every ethnic group?

We talk about integration and inclusion and yet have a committee which further separates ethnic groups...

People should just be people and live in communities together without separation....

I know when I was in Toronto each and every ethnic group had their own special community within the city...many of these people had zero interaction from other ethnic groups nor did they ever learn how to speak English.....

There is even a gay villa where only alphabet people lived....

And people wonder why there were diversity issues.......segregation lives.

But here's the thing. People tend to gather around similar people. They naturally want to segregate. Not in a negative way. It's just a natural thing.

Take for example this board. We tend to gather as Hayabusa folks. We don't dislike other bikes and we may also group with other bikes we own. But our common bond in this group is a Hayabusa.

So when groups organize they become a mass that want to facilitate that groups interest.

I don't think that concept will go away.

I was just out on an errand run for the boss lady...

One thing I noted was the vast amount of road construction that is going on....it was a maze to get across town...

Our area is crossed over by a few different government entities, city, county, municipal and provincial none of whom coordinate their road construction....the city is only 15k people but the municipality holds 30k.....there is basically one route to use to get across the city...I'd sure hate to be a first responder trying to get around....

I can also see why people are getting frustrated as each and every road has a detour sign...

Why can car companies go crazy with their vehicles building cars and trucks with insane hp figures and let them be unleashed on the public but motorcycle companies are limited?

The hp wars are alive and kicking in the pick up truck segment as well as the car/SUV segment....

Ram and it's TRX, Ford with it's Raptor both over 700hp and nary a thought of any limitations..

Mustangs, Camaros, Challengers, Chargers, European cars and SUVs all with crazy hp figures placed into the hands of "Joe and Jane public" No driving courses are required, no speed limiters are needed...

Recently a new driver (19 yrs old) was stopped doing over 300kms/hr in his parents Mercedes,

That same person couldn't get anywhere near a motorcycle which is capable of those speeds yet he was handed the keys of a vehicle that could....

I just don't get it....

There are definitely to many idiotic laws on the books. The plus concerning the Hayabusa is that they have kept the engine and mechanics pretty well the same and there is a ton of aftermarket parts. They sale their bikes all over the world and to be able to get them accepted into some countries that have “woke” ideas they have to meet their standards. It’s all about money.

I wonder why it is that Korean car companies often place their rear signal lights in the bumper yet keep the tail and brake lights in the higher location?
Here in North America we don't look at the rear bumper because it's quite low and hard to see in traffic....

Here in Canada, Transport Canada regulates such things but for some reason failed to regulate these signal lights. Many motorcycles had to have those "stalk" type signal lights to make up the spacing between them even though the blanks were still there from the Euro spec bikes...

I wonder how much is styling, vs trying to conform to as many different market's vehicle laws?
Somewhere like the U.S. especially.
Where each state has it's own vehicle laws.
The state's laws are somewhat at the manufacturer's mercy too, for example;
I live in Va, one of 3 Commonwealth states left, aka, lots of bs laws.
Your truck is too high, your car is too low, your window tint is too dark, you anual state inspection sticker expired, etc.
Now, go 45 minutes south into NC...and they basically have have one vehicle law...if it'll move under it's own power...you can drive it on the road, lol.
Years ago, early 2000's, a friend's dad(Va resident) legally ordered and bought a new Oldsmobile, from a NC dealer, and he ordered it with Dark factory tint.
The actual glass was dark too, it wasn't stick on film.
Well, it was Way darker than the Va tint limits, and he had 2 different State Troopers stop him, and tell him he had to scrape it all off immediately, and if he refused, they would.
He would laugh and explain, and told them to scrape away...but be prepared to pay for any scratches.
They were not happy, but there was nothing that they could do, lmao.
But, it really just depends on the cop, as all the ones I have ever dealt with were clueless to motorcycle laws.
Va requires 8" between motorcycle turn signals, but I've had so many bikes inspected with undertails with signals side by side, and many a cop behind me that never pulled me over for it.
Go figure, lots of pointless laws, and just for the sake of revenue...

Same here, our province has no inspections (after purchase) but others have an annual or bi-annual inspection and everything has to be functioning....my older son lives in such a province and unfortunately for him he had a Dodge Journey and regularly needed a lot of work and it seemed everytime he went to take it in, the rear wiper stopped working which usually cost a couple hundred to fix...and then the usual rear brakes and suspension which is always bad on those things....(he got rid of it since).

Around here I've seen cars go by with no front facia and the headlights almost suspended in mid air or so rusty that it appears to be painted that way....

I was in NC on Saturday.
Within the first 15 miles I passed 3 disabled cars on the side of the highway, and one on the opposite side...not uncommon...run em til the won't go anymore, lmao
