so any word on white water stuff? I'm interested just have to see what the GF wants to do since she'll be flying in for the weekend (and maybe a few days beyond)

61 days, 9 weeks, or 2.25 months... man am I getting anxious... lets see, maybe I can make this better (at least for me)... in an average month I work approx 14 days, so thats about 31 work days til Cyclefest, with 4 days vacation in there between now and then thats 27 days of work, now with 7 days to a work week, thats approx 3 weeks... oh yeah Baby!!! less than a Month to go!!! please don't burst the bubble here...

im up for the white water thing zukracer, find out what your g/f wants to do and we'll get a for sure amount of people of and decide where what day we going to that.

what do you mean older men? I don't consider myself old yet!!! I figure I am just getting into the prime of my life. As far as an extra helmet... that may be a problem, I only have one helmet.

As far as I know there is no helmet law....

hmm, no law or not, the only place I'm likely to ride without a helmet is the parking lot

Not sure what the GF's plans are yet, she might be flying in or driving in, have to play things by ear for now on the rafting trip for us, we just booked a cruise for Oct.... unfortunately the $$$ is due before the Cyclefest trip

so its a little tight on funds for an extra couple hundred bucks... still interested just not sure time/$$ wise its gonna work out

unless something changed in the last 4 years, Colorado DOES have a helmet law. However, I'm with ZR on this one, full gear, everytime!

Just answering a question, plan on the lid when riding. maybe not around parking lot and main street, but on the group rides, to and from copper mtn you know the lid is on....

chev982 - the FJR is a great bike....much more comfortable but lacking busa power....a great all around option if you can't get a busa.
