I'm thinkin about doing in on Monday. Think some others have sunday booked up and I'll be driving back to Denver to drop my GF at the airport, then either down to colorado springs or back to copper, still up in the air on where to stay on sunday night.

Is there anything going on in Copper on Sun. evening? If not I'll probably head to CO Springs and stay the night there, catch pikes peak in the morning and then echo lake on the way north to WY/SD

zukracer we have our campsite till monday, and we might just keep it till tuesday, no reason y u couldnt throw a tent down on our site, if u want, but what is in colorado springs? is there a camp ground there? is that where the hot springs are?? id be interested in spending monday night there possibly

Got my "BigDog" pass in the mail yesterday. The paddock pass is waiting at the event, along with the suzuki passes, etc....

So, who's in on the poker run Friday? On Saturday there is a Suzuki sponsored ride as well, plus from what I can see racing all weekend. Got the schedule with the pass yesterday. sorry if I am rambling, but this is great!!! haven't had a vacation of any sort in some time now (almost 2 years).
Did I say this is gunna be GREAT!!!

Copper Mountain extened forecast: August 18th, partly cloudy, high 57, low 47...10% chance of rain. Looks like this whole week is kind of rainy, (hopefully) it looks like the rain moves out Wednesday the 17th. Guess I won't need the hot weather gear. This will be a welcome relief from the 100's we've been having down here in Arkansas, if not a bit cool!

i did a search for some adult entertainment complexes in the denver area, there's a couple that catch my eye, that might be thursday night when we arrive in denver!!

i cant believe this post is going to be done soon!! remember back in january when this was all being planned, it is now a reallity!! it went from just me riding the bike down, to bringing 4 more people a truck and a trailer, with white water rafting, nudie bars, go carts, man o man list just keeps going!! getter done!!

Chev, I think I might take you up on that offer for some camp space sunday night. I'm up for doing both echo and pikes peak on monday if everyone else is. My only real plan is to be up at mt rushmore by wed and off to Iowa by thursday evening.

There has been a slight change of plans for the campsite I am staying at. It now has an opening for a camper if someone wants it. As of now there will only be 2 tents on the site (loop B, site #16). So if someone wants to bring a camper or throw a tent let me know!

I'm planning on making the poker run on Friday. If I remember they were going to have a 5 stop run and 7 stop run. I'm probably going to go for the 7 stop ride.

chev982, depending when zukracer gets to Fayetteville on Thursday, we may not make it to Denver until 8 or 9 pm....(really about the time the ole city comes alive) I'd hate to hold you guys up. The diamond is right downtown, not to far off I-70, and the talent there is extreme....(word of caution to everyone: Denver does not play well with alcohol and driving, please, please be careful!!) We may need one of the Denver guys to start "collecting" us as we arrive. Copper Mountain is about 70 miles from Denver, beautiful drive. I had planned on making the condo Thursday night, however, I think Denver would be a great meet point for all Thursday arriving members. Big caravan to copper....my cell phone is 479-263-0221.

Hope to be on the road from NC heading west on tuesday afternoon/evening and will be trailering out....doesnt look as if the bike fits as nicely in the back of the truck as I thought it might

Need more room back there for cooler and stuff anyway

I am not sure if we'll make the poker run, I'd like to but havent seen the girlfriend in a while and I'm picking her up Thurs. night in Denver. We will be staying somewhere near the airport that night and unfortunately I will not be able to join you all for the boobies on parade thing

It will come together. If Zuk is here by 8 am, we will be in Denver by 8 pm. And, ready to "stretch" a bit....Downtown is basically I-70 and I-25, would imagine you guys will be coming in from the North on I-25, we, West on I-70..... so our paths will cross about a mile from the entertainment.
