10-Year Anniversary Freshen-up

I personally would not risk buying anything from Motocomposites , I have a friend with bad experience , so that is enough for me not to risk such an experience . Plenty of good quality carbon fiber bodywork manufacturers worldwide to choose from .
Like who? BTW: I'm not spending $4K on fairings. They responded to my inquiry and told me that I get 7% off on orders over $2,500, which I mistakenly took for the set was $2,500. As you can see by my post it's more like $5K without a tank cover (which they don't make anymore).

Hahaha , calm down buddy , I just stated I personally don't recomend that company . There are some Japanese manufacturers , that make some real nice carbon bodywork pieces for Busa , but not cheap as you would expect . If you want carbon , you will pay for the privilege , if you find it way to expensive for full carbon bodywork , like myself , you won't .... do whatever makes you happy , pretty simple mate !!

Believe me buddy I'm calm. Just trying to look at options while I'm waiting to do the mock up of the side panel with my original concept. I ordered BMW paint to match exactly so we'll see if that can work. This is a tough part of the build because I'm trying to find the right statement when frankly, I don't want to make a statement. It's a fine line between just right and too much. The CF I saw was a perfect accent with the blue but my initial reaction to cover the whole bike I that was going to actually be too much. So I'm looking for someone else who will do Busa parts in the blue CF. That's all I was asking and it's a serious question - looking for the best of the CF guys.

I don't know about this recent colors , but A-Tech black diamond series , Carbony do full sets of Busa , SSK , Cleverwolf , Nexray do bits and pieces . Cleverwolf do an interesting plastic re shaped profile to go along with a 1000 tail piece for Busa .
I personally love CF , and full bodywork has always appealed to me , but just the fact that in my experience of a 20 kmph drop and also a standstill drop , the risk of damage and cost to replace is not really worth it imho .
I have always replace my bodywork with OEM , and although again not cheap , it is always of a good standard an fitment familiar .
Are you still planning on riding track days , if so , ease of replacement might be a factor as well .
You will always be looking at top dollar outlay for CF , especially Busa Gen 2 which would be rare order for full stock bodywork equivalent . Most of these manufacturers have to make it as its ordered , unless perhaps drag race extended tails in CF , which possibly have more potential orders .
Good luck , if you get a great priced deal , I think more people will be interested !!

I seriously doubt I will go to the track again. With heart issues that is not a likely trip I will be making. If I were going to the track I would get track skins or just use my current OEMs. We'll see what comes up. I'm not really a CF junkie, it's nice but it's an acquired taste. But in the blue twill it was very impressive, but I think now that all that blue might be to much. I do love titanium though, even though I don't have any on the bike right now. Maybe I need to keep my OEM's and add Ti bolts everywhere.

Careful, @c10 and @jeffgordons24 will get you hooked.....
I love the way the blue carbon BSTs look, but I think you're right, for bodywork it would be overwhelming.

Yeah , I won't be track daying this Busa either , mine will stay street ridden and I will try to preserve it as best I can .
Titanium will add a nice quality look to anywhere they are fitted , and the bonus of weight loss is most desirable . Great fun swapping out your old fasteners and axles for ti Willie , you will not regret investing in this enhanced close inspection detail !!

I have used motocomposites for my Busa and a few other items I have been pretty happy. My dash fairings are made by motocomposites.
