Q-what gear should a recent model sport bike be in at finish of 1/4 mile if geared correct?

a-Kinda depends on the the bike, rider, weight, etc...

Most stock bikes should go through in 5th gear.

Let me tell you this. a stock bike means stock gearing. And there is no way in hell stock gearing will get you 5th gear in the 1/4 mile.

Dude, I don't care what anyone says. Do the MATH, it is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to go through in 5th gear on a stock GEARED BUSA or most other bikes in the 1/4-mile.

Everyone knows this so you are just making yourself look even worse than you already do.

i know it off subject but wheelie bars . a rider will never give his bike full potential if they can;t get out of the hole hard as hell, wheelie bars can give that potential  

 

What are your 60's and 330's?

60ft 1.30's, 5.80's in the 1/8 mile, 9.20's in the 1/4

Ok, I call Bullshit! I run traps around 150-152MPH with a 250HP Turbo bike. There is no way you are pulling down a trap speed like that in the quarter on a stock motor, even at sea level. That would make your stock bike a low 9 sec bike...

I hate to burst your bubble but my stock motor bike with Brock's goodies has pulled 149mph....

What do you weight and is your bike lowered?

If your turbo bike is only going 152 in the 1/4 then you need to go to who ever built it and ask them what's wrong with your bike, or go on a diet. My bike goes 150-153 in the 1/4 and doesn't make near that HP!

My stock 12 went 146 mph last time out.
A busa I pilot with NOS making 210hp on the dope went 155 mph last time out also.
