These washes are dry 90% of the year, but after rains, the canyons fill with water

Finally reaching the main road - Highway 198

Not many people on this road, it connects the Central Valley with King City

arriving in the Central Valley - this is oil country

But I opted to ride back up Los Gatos Rd although I hadn't ridden this road in many years to ride a big loop back to Highway 25, Los Gatos - Coalinga Rd is progressively more and more goaty.

Middle of nowhere, no people, no towns, no services, only remote ranchland

But people do live out here in these remote places, tiny homesteads
