West of Paso Robles are several of the best motorcycle roads in the state.

San Marcos, Chimney Rock, Adelaida, Peachy Canyon, Willow Creek, Klau Mine, & Vineyard Dr when combined offer up the perfect thrill-ride combination, recent paving, minimal traffic, and S-curve happiness of the repetitious sort. Every time we ride the Central Coast Range, we’ve got to ride this same set of roads going on the last 20 years.

Shorter days mean we’re on a direct path to the Pacific Coast to one of our favorite places of lodging, the Castle Inn in Cambria along Moonstone Beach right on the coast. Step out of your room and walk out to the ocean and take in the setting sun. Right next door is the Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill.
