Yes, the military situation never crossed my mind . . . personally I've always tried to avoid conflict and war. Pretty easy to do way up here at the top of the world . .Unless you are coming under artillery fire then the hole is never deep enough.
Slightly off topic...That number is pale by comparison to the number of felons Newsome Gruesome and the dimtard California legislature released into the streets where law abiding citizens live. It's well over 100K they have gotten out and this was not a failure, it was the biggest airlift under war conditions ever attempted and achieved. This was a no-win situation and I think everyone knew there would be casualties. The military found themselves having to defend an exposed position with possible combatants flowing through it day and night.
Any way you look at this it was our guys pulling off another miracle. I was sure someone was going to shoot a C17 down. And Trump released 5K of the most dangerous terrorists into the area before leaving office.
Ask yourself just how did any (current or previous) administration intend on retrieving all this military equipment and weapons?Slightly off topic...That number is pale by comparison to the number of felons Newsome Gruesome and the dimtard California legislature released into the streets where law abiding citizens live.
Slightly on topic... how many arms and munitions did JB leave for the Taliban to use on our troops, citizens, and Afgans supporting American contractors?
I guess in your opinion Trump set up Biden to fail... Since Biden is such a capable leader it has to be all Trumps fault... right?

You retrieve it the same way you got it there. Smart leaders figure out a way to protect it while drawing it down. One way it to make the air superiority factor so strong that its just not worth it for the Taliban to get anywhere near it. Does the terrain and local population center make that impossible to do? I don't know.Ask yourself just how did any (current or previous) administration intend on retrieving all this military equipment and weapons?
The ANA/ANP were SUPPOSED to be fighting with them, not leaving them for the enemy...
Pretty hard for the coalition to gather in the weapons, vehicles and equipment when the Taliban are already in possession of them.
The only answer to keeping Afghanistan safe was to have a sizeable NATO force permanently positioned there conducting security.
There are too many finger pointers trying to lay blame on anyone they can...
I'm not sure of your background...if you've been in a combat zone or Afghanistan..You retrieve it the same way you got it there. Smart leaders figure out a way to protect it while drawing it down. I find it hard to believe that we didn't know the general mindset of the Afghan military before this got the the stage it is at.
Moving on.... Biden will blame Trump... its the perfect excuse to a failure like this one. In fact... isn't everything Trump's fault? The covid thing was going to happen whether of not he won in 2016. Gain of function research continues at the lab in Wuhan... I can't think of a better place for a cruise missile to land. The border crisis is intentional... Biden green lights the world to come and stay. The stimulus effect has distorted the work ethic of millions of working Americans to some degree. The build back bloated bill will inflate the pockets of many politicians and connected contractors... it really is "situation normal" for the leftist agenda to subvert this nation into chaos. I haven't even mentioned until now the fallout from the "Woke" crowd and its impact on this culture in America... It appears the left is getting better at practicing racism with its cancel culture practices.
After causing an insurrection at the capital, I decided to include the “moron” category. Yes, that is my opinion. What you call moronic, narcissistic and other smears as it relates to Trump simply shows us your opinion.
Yep, they are loud and messy...I won't go into details but there's nothing fun about body parts raining down around you...copy n paste from my son .
Wasn't at the gate but the whole airport heard it.

Motherfucker was packed with thirty or forty pounds of explosives plus ball bearings so it was pretty loud.
Thank you for the through explanation. After causing an insurrection at the capital, I decided to include the “moron” category. Yes, that is my opinion.
The rest….
A profile of Viking personality types, to which some would refer to as a predominantly “green” profile is not a smear. It is simply a profile understood by anyone who has done profiling of executives.
Most very successful CEO’s rate pretty high on the narcissist scale.
Vikings are simply people who are hated by some and liked by others. They normally offend a lot of people, but get things done fast by cutting through a lot of BS. They are excellent doers, problem solvers, but not good at team building. They do not accept losing, something very clearly demonstrated by Trump after he lost the elections.
There is a valuable place for them in society. I have turned factories which were a mess for years around in less than six months, by putting a Viking in charge. But shortly after that one has to find the Viking a different assignment, otherwise half of the team resigns.
Hence my comment that I am pretty sure the Afghanistan exit would have been very different if it was handled by the previous Administration.
Interesting Read:I just read the coalition took over 110,000 people out of Afghanistan...that's a good sized city worth of people and yet there are people still complaining it wasn't enough..???? Is it expected that everyone in the entire country gets relocated to other countries?
These people were not willing to fight to sustain their way of life and yet we bring them to our countries where we expect they may have to fight to sustain our way of life in some capacity...an expectation which has already been dispelled....
If the people of Afghanistan are so against Taliban rule, they need to take it to the streets and mob the Taliban with whatever weapon they can find and use each and every time they see one...pretty hard to kill off an entire nation of millions of people...the Taliban will eventually either get the hint or run out of people.
...sadly we know this will never happen and the people of Afghanistan will return to their sheep-like lives under Taliban rule....while the rest live in our countries and complain about how our governments have let their people down...
I agree with you that the number of evacuated people is something to be applauded. At the same time when you consider the thousands still left there that could be discovered and captured for ransom or tortured and killed is a horror I don't want to read about when the stories are published. I can't imagine being a journalist in Afghanistan looking for a way out at this point in time.I just read the coalition took over 110,000 people out of Afghanistan...that's a good sized city worth of people and yet there are people still complaining it wasn't enough..???? Not even close...there is no democratic process in Afghanistan....there are no police forces or military to protect them and the judicial system has collapsed..What you said here... If the people of Afghanistan are so against Taliban rule... is similar in concept to what happened on January 6th.
Talk about the real version of using a human shield.....how do you fight against that sort of ideology...^^^
Each nation is made up of people’s with their own particular values which in the end blends towards a predominant culture. In the first world countries, human life is respected in the third world there is less or no respect for human life.
Personally protecting American values and culture is pretty much on the top of my list. If we do not protect our borders and we are not careful about who we bring here, those Amercan values are at risk.
I can remember Oxford street in London during the early 90’s, safe, social and a great gathering of folks enjoying life late into a Friday night. Today, it is not safe to do that, there are homeless people sleeping on staircases, it is a mess. No borders, the result of people with different values migrating into the country.
In short, to answer your question, we should put the interests of America, our own people, first and stop interfering elsewhere.
Moving away from Afghanistan, below is an interesting link, of the kind of behavior we should guard against bringing here.
