Good news!

Cherie just called me after spending some time this afteroon with James.

He seems to be responding much more. He moved his toes and eyes for the nurse today.

Oh, and the fever is gone!
I am certainly no doctor, but this sounds like headway to me...

Yep, he's moving around a lot more. He's probably getting bored and restless! His fever was down at about 3:30 but still a little bit there, they weren't concerned about it. The good news is that the swelling and pressure in his head down has started to go down slightly! They considered doing the leg surgery today but are holding off. They'll evaluate the head tomorrow morning and if the swelling has gone down, they'll go in and do the surgery on his thigh.
