MJN the fever can be due to the swelling and trauma to the brain its a goos sign if its getting under control.I am a little concerned about the fever.....
Can anyone with some medical backround put our minds at ease regarding this?

Great to hear some good news! Thanks for the update!Just got back from visiting James.Good news his fever is gone and the nurse was talking about them possibly doing surgery tomorrow (sunday) morning. So if you are planning on visiting be sure to call first the surgery is going to be pretty involved. Oh and the dogs are doing fine.
Thanks for the update CherieI called just before 12:30 to see f I could pop in to see him. He was getting prepared for surgery. Should take between 4 to 5 hours for the operation. I'll try to see him tonight.
James, I hope your surgery goes well and you get to have all that other crap taken off your body soon. I hate to see you hooked up to so many machines and knowing you are in pain. I'll give you sponge bath when you get out...
