I talked with Cherie last night. She was in James room, talking with him while I was on the phone with her. He was much more responsive than I've heard while other people are there. He said my name. He asked me how I was doing. He kept telling me to come on over.
Cherie had him talking up a storm. He does get quiet when he's not sure who someone is, and he'll ramble on when he knows you. If anyone's in the room, that he doesn't know, he will be very reluctant to say anything.
He sounded in very good spirits.

Feeding tube is out and he's feeding himself!!!
He was having apple filled pancakes when I saw him this morning.
I got to the hospital late last night... I snuck in there... ... the nurse tracked me down and kicked me out at around 11pm.

That is awesome !!!!!!!!!!! As far as keeping a mirror away , he will see one soon enough .Let the healing get as good as it can . Let the doctor explain his problems so if he has questions they can answer thme right then . The last thing a guy needs is for someone to tell him he's fugged up and then he asks you something about it and has to wait until a doctor shows up. My 2 Cents.

Everyone please thank Revlis for buying a girl some dinner. I'll forgive him for not riding since he's a good guy and he didn't tease me like James does about my chicken strips.... I'm working on getting those to disappear.

it's great to hear that he is making steps toward recovery, let him know that he has a lot of people pulling for him and keeping track of how he is doing...also, thank you all once again that are taking care of him and encouraging him along...that makes a huge difference when someone is going through an ordeal like he is
