Anytime brother!Thank you my brother for helping me in this proyect.
They fell great getting them where you like them. They do have a more direct feeling without the rubber pads, but you get used to them quickly.I've been wanting to do this to mine! I'm on the taller side and feel like I could use the pegs to be just a little lower. How does it feel when riding? I love the rubber pegs and I'm worried by switching them out I would be upset and lose riding comfort without the rubber pad
Here you have more to win than to loose by positioning your feet lower in the oem position, lower to the back or lower to the front and yes sorry to let you know you sure loose the rubber comfort. If you ask me i prefer loosing more weight and the lower position vs the rubber under the feet. The rubber after a few rides you forget about it you can ask any one who has done the change i hope this helps you decide.I've been wanting to do this to mine! So basically I would need the vortex rear sets, a shift rod kit, and where do I get the heim joint from? Here you have more to win than to loose by positioning your feet lower in the oem position, lower to the back or lower to the front and yes sorry to let you know you sure loose the rubber comfort. I am not a mechanic so forgive my way of describing a part here. in this pic, I see one piece of the brake system (grey piece in the back) I have another piece that is in front of this that has a spring that attaches to the brake lever (ABS?). where is yours in this pic?View attachment 1687336

Here are some pics for ya, @Robert 0046 . Holler if you have any questions.
Gray piece in the back is the rear brake master cylinder. The part that attaches to the spring is the switch for activating the rear brake light. I got rid of that since the rearsets don't have a provision for it, and I was too lazy to fab one up. I figured that anytime I need to have my brake lights on, I will be using the front brakes anyway, which will illuminate the brake lights.I am not a mechanic so forgive my way of describing a part here. in this pic, I see one piece of the brake system (grey piece in the back) I have another piece that is in front of this that has a spring that attaches to the brake lever (ABS?). where is yours in this pic?
