It's Taylor. What she said about the perceived equivalence between mistakes and failure is something we need a constant reminder of. I've never been a big fan of her music but that speech was well delivered.Doctor Tailor Swift

I don’t dare draw a parallel between her life and mine. Way too many variables. No no, she’s just like all the rest. Just ask Bee
I am pretty sure you are not honest with yourself. If she nominated Trump, this post from you would not show.I don’t dare draw a parallel between her life and mine. Way too many variables.
Another thing she said in that speech: it’s all up to us. Our lives. Everybody gets advice and comments from family and friends. Celebrities of her magnitude get them from millions, but ultimately it’s up to her to decide the importance of speaking up or not. Outside of her singing, dancing and song writing she is just another person with things to say. She has the courage to speak up despite the chance of some of her fans firing her and for that she has my respect.
To me this conversation is about whether celebrities should voice their personal opinions publicly. Period. As usual, you attempt to slight my genuineness.I am pretty sure you are not honest with yourself. If she nominated Trump, this post from you would not show.
There's little difference between her and all the other "bubble gum" artists out there...half of them have honorary degrees and half of them all donate to charities (mostly for a tax write off).No no, she’s just like all the rest. Just ask Bee
As we've seen by Trump......people can be easily influenced by celebrities so much so they will do just about anything the celebrity tells them....To me this conversation is about whether celebrities should voice their personal opinions publicly. Period. As usual, you attempt to slight my genuineness.
Alice Cooper’s comment that you posted, insults every fan by implying a celebrity’s stance will affect their own, and at the same time he is using that very tool by voicing his opinion publicly, as is his right.
You can’t eliminate that dynamic. In this country it is defended by the first amendment. If someone is diverted by Trump’s rhetoric or Zerks’ posts, it is on that someone alone. As we've seen by Trump......people can be easily influenced by celebrities so much so they will do just about anything the celebrity tells them....
If these celebrities all get up on their soapboxes, it could be a dangerous thing if the wrong message is sent tot heir fans as it has several times in the past....
It's gonna rain cats and dogs and thunder, because for the first time I have something I do agree with Wuzza. There's little difference between her and all the other "bubble gum" artists out there...half of them have honorary degrees and half of them all donate to charities (mostly for a tax write off).
Sometimes you surprise me....
I don't support the first amendment, it has gone beyond reasonable toleration and if it continuous down that path will eventually destroy America. You can’t eliminate that dynamic. It’s still better, in my humble opinion, than the alternative.
Not at all, I just think you are very human, with emotions, empathy and admiration for where it is due.As usual, you attempt to slight my genuineness.
It’s awesome that you can make that that statement. That inalienable right is the reason I won’t move away no matter who is in the White House.I don't support the first amendment, it has gone beyond reasonable toleration and if it continuous down that path will eventually destroy America.
I appreciate that, at the same time you question my ability to draw a conclusion based on critical thought. I prefer to examine other opinions based on the merit of the opinion alone. Not at all, I just think you are very human, with emotions, empathy and admiration for where it is due.
Maybe, I have just been around many countries, done business in many places and my statement is based on fact. It’s awesome that you can make that that statement. That inalienable right is the reason I won’t move away no matter who is in the White House.
Who awards the merit? You?I appreciate that, at the same time you question my ability to draw a conclusion based on critical thought. I prefer to examine other opinions based on the merit of the opinion alone.
Under Biden's Administration, that dynamic was eliminated. Ask Mark Zuckerberg, what he was forced to censor. You can’t eliminate that dynamic. In this country it is defended by the first amendment. If someone is diverted by Trump’s rhetoric or Zerks’ posts, it is on that someone alone.

Of course. If based on my interpretation and experiences, who else? Do you not draw conclusions based on your beliefs and personal code of ethics? I’m always intrigued by alternate conclusions. It’s part of the process.Who awards the merit? You?
I’ve never endorsed censorship and my opinion is not swayed by who transgresses. Still living here. Always.Under Biden's Administration, that dynamic was eliminated. Ask Mark Zuckerberg, what he was forced to censor.
I look at that very different from the way you do:Of course. If based on my interpretation and experiences, who else? Do you not draw conclusions based on your beliefs and personal code of ethics? I’m always intrigued by alternate conclusions. It’s part of the process.
