EV vehicles

Why would I want to run my dryer on peak is the real question....our rates are much higher on peak times around here...

Although I've not researched putting a supercharger in a home this is what my friend who did put in a fast charger called it so I naturally assumed it was a supercharger.
Higher rates peak hours.
That sucks, only in Canada.

I was going to show how much stuff you can pack in the Wings.

I also have the rear shock yet to install. That will be a fairly big job. Gotta take the fuel tank out! So there will be a few "while I'm here" side projects there. That will be the belly of the beast type bike porn.

You know most of us here like all bikes.
And you know I want a GW, so whatever I can learn from you will help me down the road, as well as the next guy.

Kawasaki looks like it is investing in Hydrogen and supercharging technology .

I saw that today too, pretty cool to see their efforts, regardless what comes of it.
I've always been a Suzuki guy, but I really like Kawasakis too, my first sportbike was a zx7, and you have to give credit to them for those sc'd bikes ever becoming a reality.
Given the level Toad bikes get modded to, I know several us are waiting to see how your H2 turns out.
I don't like hype either, and some guy with deep pockets on youtube who buys one to say he has it...so looking forward to your opinion when it's done(done, lol).
I want the real world Toad review, one that we trust.

Not to spoil the party, but the author needs to look at what is involved with hydrogen storage.
For a fuel cell, such as the Toyota Mirai, the amount of hydrogen stored as high pressure gas is viable for good mileage.
Running an ICE on Hydrogen, would require a fuel tank the size of the bike to give it a range of 100 miles. Or in liquid form, it will have to be cooled and kept cooled at almost cryogenic temperatures.

May happen for a fuel cell bike, not going to happen for an ICE bike.

In case you don't believe me, as there is a guy here who only believes things from folks who write and publish papers, see link below.

The thing about Wings. Outside of normal regular maintenance (oil, plugs etc ), just about everything requires a lot of disassembly to do. But routine maintenance (outside of the cursed air filter), takes minutes to accomplish. Oil change is about 15 mins. I changed the plugs. Done in less than an hour. Can do it in half the time next time. Bleeding brakes. About an hour. Brake pads. About 30 mins.

I've just read that Hertz rent a car is selling off 20,000 EV because they say they are too expensive to repair...

This to me is a sign of the future, EV will make vehicles more disposable than ever before.

Collision damage too expensive. They are selling 20,000, out of a total EV fleet of 60,000.

Not good news for Tesla, will be interesting to see if they learn anything from this.

And the Model 3s they are selling are selling well below $20K.

my son's boss has just bought a BMW I5 , 0-60 IN 3.4 Seconds edit that cant be right more like 5.5 sec
the dealer said 305 miles in one charge

70 miles away from the dealership battery says 60% full - another false statement more like 175 miles

Wonder if the battery has enough juice to make it out of the parking lot now??? lol
Probably do better than the Ford Lightning EV......

The only thing that thing has going for it is it looks like an F150 inside it and is familiar.

1800lbs is a lot of weight....

If you dig a little deeper, you'll find the analysis has a lot to do with the price of new EVs coming down, changing the ratio of repair to replacement cost which looms large in the rental car industry.

Also, in the News
