Thanks bro. In that pic I have the bike strapped also since I was at a meet and wanted to be lower lol but im about 2-2 1/4" on the front end and 1" in the rear normally..with the front strapped down it's probably another 1.5-2 lower up front

It's got to be the ECU Flash matched to a full exhaust. Didn't buy the Gen 3 until I was sure that was going to happen. The rest is just farkles, but come to think of it second place has to be the raising links and subsequent handling Improvement.

i assume some people want the rear just a little higher to sharpen the steering? could just put a /55 tire on it, hardly any difference though..

I am so so glad I found out about raising links. I was all over the forums when I had my gen 1, but somehow missed the benefits and the concept. I'm sad about the extra handling I missed with that bike but I am ecstatic over the handling I've found on my new gen 3. I suspect there may be...

You will feel a difference cornering with a 55 vs a 50, as the 55 will tip in quicker and not need to lean as far.

right, its a slightly taller/pointy profile. i suppose a bigger diameter only makes a slight difference even with a 200/55 as that tiny raising up in the rear relative to the entire wheelbase is a super thin sliver of a triangle amount of difference.

Yes, and you can feel difference in all 3.

WHO IS RUNNING 200/55zr17 REAR TIRE? | Gen 3 Busa Information

Looking for Gen 3 photos with this installed. Any downsides? Any TCS issues? Any ABS faults? Local dealer said it shouldn't be done due to ABS and traction control..... Want real world experienced input here.

My standard, often regular mods to my bikes are…

# Change the tyres to something better in a 190/55 rear.
# Radiator guards.
# Double Bubble screen.

After that it varies depending on what the bike will be used for, some get pillion seats and rear pegs removed, some get cans or pipes, some like my naked bikes I fit my favourite Renthal 789 bars. I’ve had a couple of bikes turn up with PowerCommanders fitted, but I think I’ve found a guy less than an hour away who can flash them.

I can certainly notice a 9.5mm lift in the rear going from a 190/50 to a 190/55 as it’s not just the height difference, it also changes the feel and shape.

I’ve run a few 200/50 and 200/55’s but always gone back to a 190/55.
