Flashing the 08 / ECU Editing software for GEN II Busas

Secret thing has something to do with ignition.
The S.F.M is a fuel module and yes, it has nothing to do with Timing. Its so that Dyno-jet can finally catch up with Bazzaz and control the upper Fuel Injectors.(IMHO, PCV & BZ are still JUNK...EE2 is the Future)

Just for the record, I'm not sure what Stkr and you are talking about and "I" was just wanting to know MORE about the "Secret thing" you where referring too. That's what I was getting at. :beerchug:

Fooling with a bazazz now on a 08 GSXR600,its been a trying time, bike runs real good, but I have this pesky almost like a stumble when you roll into it from an idle in first gear.Revs clean when you pull in the clutch,I almost have it figured out, should be done with it in a few days.

Sorry DMK,i just found it odd that you said dynojet themselves was involved with "tuning" your bike with anything other than their products, especially with their pcv being one of their hot products right now,it struck me as being odd that you said that the ee2 software "looks" good. The question i had for myself was why would they be interested in ee2 when they have their own product on the market that does the same thing. It just looks and sounds very strange from this view.Well good luck with your test session i hope the bike makes the power and everything turns out good for you!!!! post the results when dj gets through..........good luck....

Greg how much for the Bench wiring harness without the power supply ? In Oz and don't think the power supply will do here as 240 V ............... yeah it's a high powered country

forgive me topbusa i quickly loose track of email / real names / screen names. if you sent payment then yep yep :)

Ok.....so Ive read on all the comments here, and yup here comes the dumb azz question...can anyone explain to me "in ECU flashing for dummies speak" what the heLL this is all about:laugh:

I wanna know but im too brain dead to figure it all out, someone break it down for me yo...much obliged..:bowdown:

instead of using a power commander, or bazzaz, and a trunk full of boxes, you can re-flash your ecu's chip to do the following

tune fuel
tune ignition
remove 6th gear restrictions
increase rev limiter
run dual ignition / fuel maps
etc etc etc etc etc etc etc

Ahhhhh,

I see now master...sank you vewy much sir..

So basically when I get my whole exhaust I can flash the ECU and tune thusly...???

yes sir, assuming you have access to a dyno or a means to monitor air fuel ratio yes you could tune yourself. Same would go for any method of changing fueling / ignition, need a way to make sure you are tuning in the correct direction.
