Flashing the 08 / ECU Editing software for GEN II Busas

since this is early on, looking for a few guys who can install asap, take pics, provide feedback quickly, test some things out. For doing this will do a reduced rate, please PM me if interested and let me know when you can get it on the bike and get playing around :) Petrik already has some new software stuff for us coming out very soon, should be an awesome year for you gen 2 guys :)

Per Petrik..

New build 2.0.1.0 is avail for testing including
- Fixed fuel map tuning, was using cyl0 or cyl1 depending on fast/normal mode. Now using cyl0 as basemap for everything.
- Added derestriction and STP control
- some minor other fixes and improvements

Hayabusa ECUeditor for K2-K7, K8- models

FYI, if you already loaded prior release, you must uninstall it from add/remove programs prior to installing this version.

Some GenII ECUEditor Questions for Petrik et al.:
1. What is STP control?
2. This version doesn't support multiple ignition maps. I thought the prior version did, but perhaps not. Will ECUEditor eventually allow for switching ignition maps so that timing can be pulled during N2O activation.
3. What wire activates map switching
4. With stock springs and Ti valves, what is the highest RPM that anyone has tested with the GenII without spitting a shim or keeper, or floating the valves. 11.3 seems to be no problem:thumbsup:

Keep up the great work guys!

Thats wierd Draco, I did NOT have to uninstall anything...as soon as I opedned my "setup" while being already connected to the internet, it updated automaticly??

1. What is STP control? Stands for "secondary throttle plate(s)"

I believe Petrik is trying to incorporate a "Lunch control"(kinda like a 2 step)with allowing us to control the secondary throttle plates. :beerchug:

I wanted to but greg wasn't sure if he wanted to sell it to me. My Gf is a engineer and those where her questions. The reason was because of my tuner which happen to be a buddy of mine who is one of the tuners for dynojet R&D. He is the best I have locally to me here in Las Vegas. Thus my issue and wanted to try it before I sent the bike to RCC to get turbo with a motech. Any help would appreciated. I don't feel this was right not my fault we all want the best we can get this just happens to be him for me.:dunno::dunno:

Transistor is a BC547, just as it says on the schematic. It is a very general transistor made by several manufacturers, google it and you will find all the data you need.

No offense intended, but those are some pretty simple questions for an engineer to be asking.:easy:

The reason for the question is that the part number has little changes with each manufacture. If it doesn't matter which then I am good to go :) Also this is something she does want to chance because we live together ;) :beerchug:
