Flashing the 08 / ECU Editing software for GEN II Busas

***ALERT*** Fella'z, We ran into a little snag today:banghead: I recieved Gregs AWESOME Re-Flash box(have lotz of pics on install too). I was able to get everything on and got engine data screen functioning, but when I went to Flash....I get an Error message saying "flashing has been stopped do to Possible ECU damage" ???, then another saying "you do not have an 15H00 or 15H20 ECU"?? So after scrathing my head for about 15mins, I had a look at my ECU and sure-nuf...I have a 32920-15H20 ecu!!! :cursin:
So we have an S.O.S. Message out to the Guru's(Petrik) to see what we need to do?
Now where thinking its do to mine being a "california" model(MAN I REALLY HATE THIS FKN STATE)so the rest of you probably wont have this issue, but I'd check your ECU's just in case. :beerchug:

Thanks for the heads up as I am putting mine on soon also. That sucks man, California must be more communist than Minnesota on rules.

Will be interested to see Petrik fix that one, which I am sure he can. :please:

Well Fella's, I Guess I could share how the install went with Gregs New Re-Flasher Box, which by the way is AWESOME AND IS SECOND TO NONE!
Hopefully this will help some people see just how easy this stuff really is........
BTW, Pay no attenttion to the red scotch locks(wire splicers), these are NOT part of the Re-Flash box install, there for my Wego3 and Bazzaz(which is soon to go!).

Couple more things, got a rough draft of directions for gen 2 boys :)

Directions Link (0.5 meg, right click and "SAVE AS"

Also have a starter video showing how to connect device etc. Just showing how to connect to proper com port (If using vista you still have to go in and set to run program as administrator), connect to engine data, flash a base map etc.

toxsick, cali software is available now, just flashed my ecu i have here with it, give it a whirl :) I think the fast flash should be just fine for making your minotr tweaks, assuming you aren't adding shifter code, fast flash is a lot faster than normal flash as it doesn't have to write the entire bin file to the ecu.
