I've been doing some research into Hayabusa accessories before purchase, especially as I want to use it as tourer as well, somethimes with a pillion.

Contacted SW Motech, they said "We will check the Hayabusa 3, but no date has been set yet. To be honest, it will probably take until the beginning of next year until we have the appropriate products." - I have high hopes for them as I used many of their products and they are top quality. Moreover, we need an alternative to the grossly overpriced R&G and Yoshimura frame sliders.

Contacted Givi, they said "At this moment we not have in our plans the development of a specific rack for this motorcycle due to the low request of the market." - shame! They made a nice rack for Gen 2. "the 2021 m.y. of Busa is a completely new motorcycle and the 541FZ rack is not compatible."

I wonder if anybody makes luggage or at least a rack for this bike. I plan to buy next spring and if nothing new becomes available by then, I'll go Kriega.
US40 rackpack attached to the subframe, on that wide pillion seat: KRIEGA | Official website - Online Store —US-40 RACKPACK .
US20 drypack used as tankbag with tankbag converter: KRIEGA | Official website - Online Store —TANK - US DRYPACK CONVERTER . Or just strapped to the US40. I use my US20 for 4 years now, even in torrential rain it is waterproof, excellent piece of kit.

Great minds.....................:) I did something similar because, depending on travel restrictions, I'm going to be touring round Europe next year too - agree about SW-Motech - great kit and had their stuff on all previous bikes - guess you know they make the oem 'Suzuki' fixing rings and tank bags for the Hayabusa and other models.

Spotted this on a Facebook post earlier - first aftermarket screens? plus some other stuff:

Hi Spudley, I've also ordered the exhaust and sliders, but can you please provide a link for the Yoshi screen - I can't find it.

454-592-0000 Radiator screen part number. Call Don Franzen in Chino California, and he'll order it directly from Japan, his number is (909) 628-4722 ext 422.

I imagine you can get a hold of your local Yoshimura rep and have him make the inquiry, but they're available from Japan plus shipping. I have to wait on the exhaust, and the sliders until Christmas.

Excuse me you're in the UK, your rep should be able to get it direct from Japan as well. They have them there, they don't have any sliders those sliders won't be around available till February, I can get the mufflers in or around Christmas.

I also got a set of those heat shields that they use for the new black onyx slip ons ?. You can buy them separately, and I think that with the hepta mufflers should look pretty tight. And that'll hold me over until we can edit and then the exhaust will change completely. If we can edit in a month or two, then all this work is for nothing. LOL!:p

Just out of curiosity can I order the hepta mufflers, and the sliders from the UK?.

Ah! 'Radiator' screen - I thought you meant 'Wind' screen - separated by the English language again:D!

UK importer/distributor for all Yoshi products (USA + Japan) is Performance Parts Ltd, Suppliers of Performance Components, including parts from Akrapovic, Rizoma, Gilles, Remus, ASV, DC, Galespeed, Galfer, National Cycle, Supersprox, Z-Technik, Zero Gravity, HyperPro, Yoshimura, LSL, Crosspro, Rapid Bike and many others. (NB their website for Yoshi Japan products isn't fully up-to-date)

I ordered (all via them from Japan) tail tidy/radiator screen/Hepta muffler in mid August - tail tidy/radiator screen have been delivered - Hepta mufflers will be delivered in next couple of weeks and when I spoke to them on Friday they quoted 4-6 weeks for the sliders so ordered them too. I guess our shipping congestion/delays aren't as bad as you have off the West Coast.

Note your comments about heat shields but will wait until mufflers are fitted on my bike - may not need any more than the much smaller ones supplied with the Japanese version.

Lastly, I'm sure you could order via the UK, but not sure that would be cost effective or that you would gain much in lead time. Have a word with them - they have a good reputation over here - and if you decide to go ahead would be interested to hear how it worked for you.

Does anyone have a link to the offset R & G sliders that would be a U.S. supplier?
or is everyone just drilling their plastic?

Question - has anyone had chrome powder coating done successfully? I have been following the multitude of very cool options to be added to the Gen 3 , along with even color changes to the inserts, I was thinking of changing the gold accents to powder coated chrome? I wonder how that would look and how durable it would be?
