Not true. It's a 2021 in some other countries but arrives in the USA as a 2022.

I wonder if some of you are confusing posted delivery dates with model years. Those two dates do not mean the same thing.
I have not seen any model year reference to 2021 but please post it if you find such. For Australia and New Zealand the web sites indicate a 2022 model. Below are screenshots with urls.

I most definitely care about hp and top end as well...if I didn't why would I buy a busa and ZX14? I'm lucky enough to live in an area where I can enjoy the full, brutal to the redline in every gear acceleration and top speed of these bikes, and for the other folks who enjoy it they'll understand when I say the rush is unbelievable and addictive. If you've never ran your superbike to the redline in each gear up to the limiter in top gear then you're missing out on one of the biggest rushes in life... and one of the best parts of owning a superbike.

one scuffed GEN3 for sale , i assumed he had the electronics turned off or i would be worried
Was calling around to preorder the black 2022. Called Fred cummings zuki as it is the closest to me. I said I want to preorder and he said no need, I got a silver red on the floor, come and get it. Wow, that was quick. If it would have been the black one, I would be riding it RIGHT now. I'm glad he didn't have a black one as he was $1000 more than Van Nuys Suzuki. I would have pre-ordered the black one but he said they weren't set up yet from Suzuki to do that, so I called another dealership. I think he just wanted to sell me that silver today for another grand if you ask me. I wasn't going to preorder, but the free stuff was too tempting. I still can't believe the new 2022 won't come with the hump. Gotta pay what another $230 for it, that just ain't right.

This 2021 in some countries and 2022 in others is stupid never have I seen some bs like this and now people in US are riding based on color...smh! You get cowl when you pre order with jacket and plaque... I knew US had them june is straight bs !

No, I didn't get the silver bullet due to I wanted the black, but I could have gotten it today in Bakersfield, Ca. I got the black one on preorder for $1000 less from another dealer. Thanks for reminding us that today was the last day for the free stuff. That Alpinestars jacket is going to be awesome. I'm going to get the Aria 2020 Isle of Man TT helmet as it is gold and some other color and will go great with the black-gold bike. Well USA Suzuki headquarters is in Brea, Ca. 1-1/2 hours from my home, so yes Cali riders may get theirs sooner. The salesman told me June or July, but they may start getting them in May. The hump after today will cost $230. I hate the back seat as I ride solo all the time. Also, the hump is part of the excellent aerodynamics of the bike and makes the looks pop.

I don't think the dealer is referencing a 2022 Gen-3, I think he's got a leftover 2019. No US dealer has a Gen-3..

You pre ordered so you get the cowl and yes tomorrow no cowl or jacket so lost out on 800 in accessories....I went to Fred Cummins website no mention of gen 3 so maybe lord busa is right he is trolling.... but like you said headquarters are near you just crazy that if you want a black one takes another 2 months if that was the case I might have got a silver one.
