Kind of goes back to my theory Suzuki should have offered perhaps 2 platforms using the Gen 3 as a template...they only had 13 yrs to get it figured out...This is a moving target. If Suzuki made the setup more comfortable then those who ride aggressively would make all the same changes in reverse to make it more aggressive. Is not the owner more likely to hit a brick wall, with problems in clearance, etc., in trying to setup a bike more aggressively rather than go in the other direction? Or would you call that even?
I have a very well maintained, low km Ram that my dealership really, really wants as they will be able to sell it before they get it to the lot.I have been looking at the escalating prices of my vehicle on the used market. The bottom line is that I would still take a massive depreciation hit plus the sales tax that I would never get back. Dealerships beg for used vehicles but their pricing takes off $4-6k for each of the first couple of years of ownership. They beg us for the vehicles then slap us upside the head. This is almost always a very poor financial move. Be careful out there people. Do not be tempted by an illusion.
This ain't the SVT Lightning you owned and remember though...My truck is still worth 50k it's loaded with the 6.2 I will sell on my own...and I know first year anything I'm a guinea pig but just like the busa the lightning was my first luv when it came to a truck I worked 2 jobs just to get a used one for 24k I really like the new hummer but it's too flashy and don't want to spend 80k damn 60k is bad enough not a big fan of Ford but I have a soft spot for the lightning... I almost got a raptor instead of the chevy but I'm I florida and don't go off road so seemed like a waste.
One of the first mods I did was install 1 inch bar risers on my Gen 1. I have seen a Busa equipped with 1 inch custom built lowered footpegs...Kind of goes back to my theory Suzuki should have offered perhaps 2 platforms using the Gen 3 as a template...they only had 13 yrs to get it figured out...
But of course this is the same company which launched a brand new model (GSX S/F/Katana) based on an old platform and after all the waiting and hype brought out basically a Gen 2.5 Hayabusa so we shouldn't expect too much from them.
We should take a poll here and see how many owners have modified the bars or pegs on our current bikes...I'll bet there is a good percentage.
You are correct not sporty enough smh... no body kit no fat tires no svt suspension no suede bucket seats no sound of the that supercharger these basturds just put a lightning badge on a electric platinum edition damn you ford... well keep selling homes guess the new hummer will do lolThis ain't the SVT Lightning you owned and remember though...
The electric thing might work for you in Florida though...maybe it will come with an aftermarket solar tonneau cover...
Exactly, unless you know the bike, and are familiar with a Hayabusa, twisting the throttle on any of the generations is a thing to behold....and respect. And it was tested by a man that he even said is not suited for that he only does the reviews and still was the fastest bike ever tested just wait till a real racer gets ahold of it US videos should be coming soon...CAN'T WAIT !!!
I'm 54 and I've owned six cars in my life, three brand new. I used them all up. No dealership wanted any of them. If you keep them running a hundred thousand miles without any major repairs, it costs you just a few pennies per mile to run that vehicle and it keeps going down the longer you keep it. Buy new and keep it until it's junk. They beg us for the vehicles then slap us upside the head. This is almost always a very poor financial move. Be careful out there people. Do not be tempted by an illusion.

It will out last me for sure ,but m in it for the rideI believe suzuki will make 2 versions of the busa down the road maybe even a electric tourer and a turbo killer lol its the most accessorized sportbike on the planet and will be around for a long time.
