Damn suzuki really gonna buy it from him tried and true wow....salute. That man hit the motorcycle lotto on that puppy.

That averages 85 oil changes in 255,000 miles, cheap insurance like it's always been. I run Amsoil and I drain at 3500 like clockwork.

Exactly, almost every reviewer says it's a decent sports tourer...and they say the rear seat seems roomier than the other generations.

The hyperbike wars are dead, the Hayabusa was designed as a hyperbike.

It is not competitive against the superbikes, in stock form it's not great for a long distance tourer, the new one will be a bit better with the cruise control but you still have to find some way to load your luggage on it...and people are already asking about lowered pegs and raised bars...

I am a realist, I love my bike but I know it's sole purpose in life is to amuse me.
That’s why they make back packs !

Yes absolutely. Some abuse the aluminum threads like a good friend of mine wjo had his torque wrench set at 20 ft lbs and didn't feel the click. LOL !, insert didn't last and we replaced the pan.

Well even before I used the torque wrench to do my drain plugs, I was always very attentive to when the washer crushed and the drain plug stopped turning. Now I just set it at 16 1/2 foot pounds and click it.

He's had almost the same guy for 13 years working on his bike.

Well I called corporate today gave them my SO number and was told they will be in The US by June 14th to the 21st then shipped to dealerships which she said usually takes 5 business days to arrive... 1 MORE MONTH !!! And all pre order swag will be shipped separately the shipments to warehouses go to Cali and Pennsylvania hope mine goes there only 6 hours from virginia and as long as you have the SO number call your dealership for that info then call corperate office in Cali they can give you a ballpark time frame. So if you pre ordered early then end of June for sure but if you waited too long it will be late July and August so glad I didn't wait!

I wore a back pack for enough of my life thanks...

In saying that, one will go pay upwards of $20 for a bike then have to settle for wearing a back pack to meet their requirement for luggage....makes little sense to me.

In the same breath, the same people who will buy this expensive bike are already looking to change the riding position....

Maybe Suzuki should have done a little more research and noticed how many people were adding Helibars or risers and drop pegs then designed their new bike to meet this demand....

This technology hasn't sold me yet....and to top this off, this is a first year vehicle with all the bugs just waiting to pop out and bite you.

Electric only vehicles might make some sense in areas where the temperatures don't vary greatly but running air conditioners and heaters draw a lot of power. Add in the cold winter temperatures and these things won't fare so well...

This is a moving target. If Suzuki made the setup more comfortable then those who ride aggressively would make all the same changes in reverse to make it more aggressive. Is not the owner more likely to hit a brick wall, with problems in clearance, etc., in trying to setup a bike more aggressively rather than go in the other direction? Or would you call that even?

I have been looking at the escalating prices of my vehicle on the used market. The bottom line is that I would still take a massive depreciation hit plus the sales tax that I would never get back. Dealerships beg for used vehicles but their pricing takes off $4-6k for each of the first couple of years of ownership. They beg us for the vehicles then slap us upside the head. This is almost always a very poor financial move. Be careful out there people. Do not be tempted by an illusion.
