Gen 3 Latest report ..

Considering what other Gen-2's make on his Dyno for a pipe only it actually made great power. It's not the 200+ that we all wanted but the same tricks as previous bikes and it'll run very well.

Moore will get it going hard , that Gen 3 motor is really like a blue printed Gen 2 motor , it is a beauty . I think the Gen 3 will make a great super stock bike like his ZX14R .

I don't know what happened to my post but I commented earlier that it would be a nice way to end the war if the Gen3 busa can be brought up to 205 hp.

I believe the video is showing 186 hp with a pipe only. The fueling hasn't been tuned yet but looks like the bike's own O2 sensors are keeping it on target.

Yes , I seen that on the other Gen 3 thing ... I think it will make plenty of power bro and be a good do everything bike , as Busa are . Also , I think it will be a good race against a derestricted 1440cc ZX14R and a derestricted Gen 3 . I certainly will be expecting a close quarter showdown , the new sharp as Gen 3 , against me blunt force trauma Zed14 .

Once again that's my question, how much pulse width range on the factory map, how much flexibility do the O2 sensors have?. There's a limit, high and low. Love to find out what the tuners find out about those limits.

We need to get that ECU opened up so we can read the tables. Get rid of these six gear restrictions, or go old-school and trick it into fifth gear in sixth.

I talked to my older brother last night, he told me his neighbor's son bought a black and 'gold' (his words) gen 3....he said he feels sorry for the bike as this kid doesn't look after his stuff...he said he had a really nice Triumph sport bike before getting this and he beat that bike up pretty badly, never washed it or did much maintenance...he said he had it 4 yrs and the only time it got cleaned is when he traded it in for this bike.

One of those cases where a 30 something living in his parent's basement making good money but no ambition...

My buddy sent me a pic of a black gen 3 with the red accents swapped onto it and I have to say it looks awesome. Kind of made me think why didn't they put the copper ascents on the silver bike and red with the black as it would of been a better fit since the original gen 1 was silver and copper (even tho a lot say silver and gold).

I love that red / black , smoking hot , but you could still please me with any other Gen 3 color . Like fallenarch said , they got it pretty right straight up with the Gen 3 . The only gripe I can find , is that plastic textured panel under the tank and above the frame rail, for leg grip I guess , but smooth gloss painted might have looked killer .
