got myself in some trouble, how bout some advice?

I do hope you take this to heart...at just 19, and on a Busa, I'd hope you would want to try really hard to not be "THAT GUY", that statistic that's ruined the sport bike community time and time again...be smarter, really look deep within and work toward always making it back home after a ride, don't let everyone in your life that's been saying "you'll die on that thing!" win this argument.  Trying to be cool in the heat of the moment will cost you your life; no refunds or exchanges, no second chances.  No one will be impressed by anything you do if you continue to make bad decisions...hell, no one will remember what you even did, just that you didn't make it back home and that you were yet another young guy that died on a motorcycle...

I sincerely mean this and am not trying to flame you...just use better judgment.  It's a state of mind, one that you will have to really work on...you can't always act like "okay, I did something stupid now help me get out of it"...you've got to be smarter than that and thank your lucky stars that you get another chance...

this has 2 be a troll....
Nah, I ride with this guy daily. All I can say is damn man, why'd you do it? I'm 24 and I know I probably would have done the same thing since I already have too many other infractions on my record so I don't need anymore. I mean what does a man do when he has nothing to lose? So you all can flame on me, but I'm admitting that I would have done it also.

The thing is BusaHaya402 is a really good guy with a clean record, so if I was in that situation I would have pulled over cause you do have something to lose. I just have to say thank God you're still with us man and that your bike is not in impound anymore. I know how the impound guys treat that stuff. LOL!

I will have to admit though, those cops were being damn irresponsible too. I mean speeding 150 in a 45 in a full size four door sedan wasn't the most clever thing to do either. So I say FTP! to that. I think you need to mention that also when you go to court my friend. Yeah you were speeding too, yet isn't the first concern of any so-called officer is to worry about the welfare of people. So the officer himself wasn't thinking about the safety of himself, others around, you or that girl.

I am almost speachless, just when I thought how can there be such an idiot out there, I find out there are 2 BIGGER THAN LIFE IDIOTS on the road. We just had rider killed this morning in Columbus travelling at 80-100 mph when a dump truck changed lanes and he couldn 't get stopped in time and ran into the backend. Killed instantly.

My advice:
Get used to really crappy food.
Try being a man and take your medicine (tough one I know)
Dont try to get a lawyer to get you out of it. (impossible)
Drop the self-pity.
But don't drop the soap.

Now humor us and explain the gear you and your rider were wearing during your stupid human trick.

How dare the LEO try to remove IDIOTS from the roadway. It's either the POPO or the EMT's your choice.

And apparenly you don't have anything to lose, so give us all a break on our MC Insurance and play with guns or something that can be done in the privacy of your own home.

Nothing but excuses. The cops wouldn't have to go that fast if he hadn't fled. No one has said he wasn't a nice guy, but he surely isn't an intelligent one. As it's been said before, if he was by himself that's one thing, but he wasn't. You shouldn't be making excuses for him. It doesn't change the fact he broke the law and put someone elses life in danger.

And everyone wonders why us "older" people tell the younger folks not to get Busa's or why we are always harsh.

Sithor.. Damn dude. I have seen your name around here.

You don't run from cops. no matter what. Anytime you run from a cop you not only endanger yourself but you put the officer at risk and who knows who else.

And don't blame the cops for your friend breaking the law. I have to say that is real immature and another one of our problems in society. No wants to take responsibility for their actions.. WTF?

You expect police just to sit back and let people do what ever they want? if they came out and made it a mandate that NO officers ANYWHERE in the United States would ever pursue a speeding vehicle.. guess what? everyone would run, everyone would get away with crimes. Crap, soccor mom in her soccor van would probably run if she knew the police were not allowed to chase her.

Come on, show some common sense. You don't run because you have nothing to lose, you don't do things that endanger other people, and you don't blame someone else for your actions.

To all of you other young riders that do have your shid together, this is a prime example of why you might have problems with insurance, you might have problems with everyone being against you riding. Not all young riders are screwed up. But the ones that are usually blow it and mess up, and they are the ones giving the rest of you a bad rap. And making your life more miserable than it should be.

As everyone has stated prior the most damning issue is the disreguard for the safety of your passenger...Had you not had a passenger and still chose to run then it was only you to deal with your decision...You were blessed because God looks out for idiots...Here fleeing from the Police is a felony, so is reckless endangerment...Their probably not going to do much with you other than fines and some community service they don't want you in jail any more than you would want to go...Count your blessing and apologize to the girl if your haven't...Get a good lawyer and pray for mercy from the court...

Don't make this same mistake...

It is so pointless to go down this road; bashing the police for doing their job? It's a judgment call on their part, and if they see a violation, they usually try to intervene...do you know how many times I wished like hell my cousin wasn't being chased by the cops? That the cop that took off after him had just decided "hey, I'll let this one go?" He'd be here today, maybe...or, they would have let him get away with taking someone else out while speeding on his CBR, or he would have done the same stupid thing the next chance he had...I stopped blaming the police about 2 minutes in to that train of thought...Cop sees something illegal = reaction to said offense...it's pretty simple...

I don't think your friend is a terrible guy; I think he's like so many YOUNGER riders on fast bikes...I wouldn't for a single minute try to change the focus of what HE did for what the cops did...jeez...time to own up to doing stupid sh*t and train yourself to understand that you just can't do that kind of crap and live to see your next birthday...

wow.

ok, sure. lemme go drop some acid + try to wrap my head around THAT logic....

I'll get back to you.

Read thru this thread and I am speechless.... WTF!!!!

It's all been said, I just hope you are smart enough to read and heed.

So you all can flame on me,
I believe I shall......

I see you are as retarded as the other guy, makes sense since you ride together daily.
You say you have nothing to lose, as if you are some career felon, facing a 3rd strike, when in reality you're just a stupid kid with a few traffic infractions. Trust me, that doesn't constitute nothing to lose.
Saying you're glad his bike isn't in the impound any longer shows me you are just as big an assclown, this guy needs a bike about as much as he needs an extra d!@k. The impound yard is the best place for his bike.
Your final paragraph shows your complete and total stupidity. Yeah, it would be a GREAT plan to go to court and tell the Judge "the cops were speeding too, why should I get in trouble?" In fact I'm sure that whatever lawyer he gets will develop a defense based exactly on that premise. Good idea genius!
Your whole "Rebel without a clue, I hate authority, F the police" attitude is ridiculous. Your buddy f@#ked up, ran and got caught. Don't be mad at the Cops who were forced to do their job by your stupid friend. Please don't act like the Cops were in the wrong, he was speeding to begin with. You can't hate Cops when YOU make them do their jobs, if you don't like them bothering you, why give them a reason? How can you act like you are pissed that the cop didn't have any care or concern for peoples welfare, but act like its cool for your boy to do the same thing.

Try thinking a little more before you start typing, you'll find it makes your ignorance a little less obvious.......

Bah. this just gets worse.

This guy hasn't even had his bike for a month yet, and pulls this kind of sh!t...

grrrr...

me personaly think you should do the time. if you were on your own i could understand it but knowing there was someone on the back you should grow up.
plus dont pick the soap up

BH402, what have you gotten yourself into

It's really to late to say sorry to anyone, just fess up and do the time/or community service thing. Learn from your mistake and move on. Just don't let it happen again. Simple as that.

To everyone else, stop being D**ks to the guy. I'm sure he knows he's in a jam and he really doesnt' to hear anymore of this crap.

rule#1 - if your gonna run, dont get caught!

if you got a passenger, respect their life and at least let her off. stupid stupid stupid. you dont deserve to ride a busa.

wtf. if this dork had displayed the slightest awareness of his own amorality, or at least a glimmer of remorse, I'm sure the response here would have been a bit more supportive.

As it is, he only seems to be worried about how he can get out of what he deserves, and not about what he has done. Not about endangering the life of his unwilling(!) passenger or the cops that had to chase him down or all the other people he put at risk with his asshat actions.

This numbnuts is getting about all the sympathy he deserves. It's not about knowing he's in a jam. It's about taking responsibility for his actions.

As far as being a d!ck goes, I think anyone who doesn't rag on this jerkoff is doing him the greater disservice. Maybe if enough people make clear to him that what he did (to clarify this for the slower readers: I don't mean getting caught, which was inevitable, but actually running in the first place) was just plain simple stupid and wrong, maybe then he'll be a little closer to being mature enough to actually ride. All the people who support him are just holding him back.

I think he's heard enough
I agree; just checked out the beating he's taking on the other busa board...ouch...

Honestly, just be smarter next time and live to ride another day...I do hope you LEARN from this more than anything else...that's the BEST advice anyone can give you right now; can't change what's happened at this point...
