I jumped on this late, but seems there's a lot of criticism. Don't know about the rest of you, but I don't wear a black robe and sit on a high bench. Boy made a mistake. Sure he was a retard, and probably still is. Can someone have gotten hurt? You bet, but no one did.

For a board that's suppose to facilitate support each other, I see and smell a lot of venom oozing.

Call him stupid, call him ignorant, but some of what you guys posted sounded almost like he did something personal to you or your family.

Not to defend him, but in his very first sentence he already knew some of you were going to rip on him, and he was right.
Watch how you judge others... I know I'm no angel myself. And I bet most of you aren't either on a bike, especially a Busa. Maybe not to the extent of BH402's stupidity.

But still: Remember you wear a helmet and a riding jacket just like all of us, not a black bench robe

I think it was the arrogance in his post that got most riled up. It was for me anyway. No one is judging him, just his actions and attitude towards them.

I ride with my wife alot and to think that this guy is out on the road when I have her with me.I will tell you one thing I have had to tell a family that their son was not going to be returning from Iraq and let me tell you something. YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND the hurt that you would have caused that girls family if you had hurt her. For the guy who wonders why we get so mad about things like this. I think there is one main issue here. If he didn’t have a passenger and didn’t admit to not really giving any thought to her well being, I don’t think most would have gotten riled up.

We're idiots? That's your opinion. I ride with a ton of guys and have never seen you out. Once again, another guy who will probably have only 2,000 miles on his bike after owning it for like 2 years. BH402 - I almost have to believe this is a hoax because it's simply too outlandish, but in case it's real you asked for advice; here's mine:

1) Get processed, take the consequences and consider yourself incredibly fortunate.

2) Make reparations to your victim* and her family. I believe this should be done through an Officer of the Court so that it's binding.

3) Sell your bike and never buy another. You're not a motorcyclist.


*For a time she was being held against her will and in grave danger - she is a victim. Refer to item #1.

True, the real issue here is not the speed. It's the running with the passenger. Well, I like to think that we all know the inherited risk when we strap on our helmets. Just like that girl knew the risk when she got on the back of that bike. BUT of coarse, she may not know that she was getting on the back of a retard's bike. OR she may, I mean, both of them ran. I don't mean to stereotype, but unless both guys were clean cut, nerdy types, she must've sensed some "bad boy" streak before getting on the back, but yet was attracted to it. MAYBE she bite off more than she can chew when the chase started. We will probably never know. But I think the point is: Judge not, unless you're willing to be judged.

Leave the judging to the guy/gal in the black robe sitting on the bench.

I like to think my tax $ isn't paying their salaries for nothing.

I won that event last year. Since it has been cancled, I get to be the forever reigning champ!!! gotta like that.


Cancelled mostly because Warren Johnson couldn't make it this year, he had too many things goin on since he is retiring.
Also, some others cancelled. Ever since they added the Sonoma race after Seattle, they just don't have the time to test like before.
