Yessir. Not Im minding not being in it for the rain and cold, but sucks none the lessIt sucks waiting on parts when they are the only thing keeping you from riding.
Looking good! Questions, where are you sourcing teh CF from? Im assuming those are the Thrashin Apex foot boards, how do you like them? Ive been wanting a set for mine for a while now.View attachment 1692806Most recent as of tonight after installing the carbon fiber center panel on the Road Glide.

Thanks....There's benefits to being single, never married and not having kids.Nice!
The Carbon bits are from Hoffman Designs and I can’t say enough about the parts, company and people involved there. Parts aren’t cheap right?, but when you have good, fair people behind them the cost doesn’t sting as much you know?Looking good! Questions, where are you sourcing teh CF from? I see this stuff and lament parts of my childhood.
I was in my driveway with siblings and friends. I was taking a couple logs from the garage and put plywood on top. Mom came to the door and asked what I was doing. "I'm gonna jump this." "No you're not. Do not do that." The door closed. Because I never listen to anyone I did it anyway. Well I did not jump. It was a Napoleon Dynamite moment and too bad I do not have video to show you. Everything just crushed beneath me. There was no jump no nothing. Maybe I fell over, maybe not, I cannot recall. Mom came to the door and grounded me from my bike for a month, which was utterly devastating. Oh yes, the bike was Schwinn's attempt at a dirt bike so the bike is like a lead weight (and serious quality!) There was no chance for getting air...ever.
<End pathetic loser story.>
Ouch!!
I visited one of my first "real" BMX tracks as a lad. Made a few loops. The jumps were, uh, big. Down the start ramp was this small jump that the doubled into a big jump. All the cool kids were doing it. I was there on my own on a week day. So I tried to figure this out. I would race down the start ramp only to scrub speed at the last due to nerves. Finally I committed. Full bore down the start ramp, over the hopper and...
Well I don't actually recall. I had this sense that time had passed. And maybe it was time to go home...
