Taken it to 302KPH so far and i was not far from its limit. I'd say with a bit less wind (it was a very open road) i could get around 305 to 310KPH but not more. See pics... Thank the speedohealer for the recall on the speedo!
where is you rpm needle. And how about the reflection in the glass. You are hold your camera with on ehand and the handle bars with the other doing 300 km/h.
I think you snapped a pic when you turn the keys and the gauges calibrates themself.
No idea, pegged the speedo, and hit the rev limiter. so my guess is pretty fast. i'm running 174HP with stock gearing, but going to change it, want quicker, not faster =)
I really have no clue, I was playing with a R1 and it got out of control, next thing I was tucked and doing everything I could to hang on!!!! could not twist anymore, when I backed down to 100mph I felt like putting the kick stand down and walking faster then I was going..... still get excited thinking abut it!.....
like they say, I walk to the edge and looked down, OK I'm done!
I took it up to 170 saturday. That was speedo reading with speedohealer that had been adjusted with GPS. So somewhere close I think. I had on my Firstgear Stealth Pilot jacket on with the vents on the front and back open. The openings in the back began to shake so violently from the turbulence that I had to let off!
Wide open just once to say I did it.. Feel no need to do it again on the road. Late night between Exits (5 mile stretch) no over passes, access roads, just pure adrenalin. Saw just how fast you come up on someone doing 70 and said to me self been there done that and never had the need again. Very I love this machine!
No pics, none needed. Finally had time to set up GPS and went for a peg ride. Didn't quite make it because I ran up on a cager, but came within several MPH of the peg. GPS Max Speed reading was 175. I don't know about the speed of the updates on the GPS. At low speeds it seemed fairly quick.
Definate error in speedo. Looks like 10 - 15 MPH at top end of stock bike.
