I Got Laid Off Now What?

From the way you describe the job, this is a blessing in disguise. There's something better out there for you.

I don't even know what to say. I've been with the company 5yrs and had 10 days off total. I've worked six days a week 90hr a week minimum since the first day I started. I was told I was let go due to economics, and the job was given to one of my guys because he makes 3 dollars an hr less. So much for Employer loyalty.

Damn bro....and with no warning huh?? It sucks all around, but that makes it even worse. Getting blindsided.
Keep your head up man. Decompress & chill for a day or two and then jump right into the search & go to it! Good Luck!

If your job search brings you to the Milwaukee, WI area, let Lurch or myself know. Maybe we can help. Good luck.

Sending good thoughts and best wishes your way. Don't give up - most of the time, change ends up being a good thing. :beerchug:

You've done the smart thing and prepared, but I know that sucks! Hopefully you will find something quickly.

Sorry to hear.

So much for Employer loyalty.

Now employer loyalty is an oxymoron.

The best businessman is only loyal to the bottom line.
Any other distractions (loyalties) that get in the way, are impediments to profit.
The best CEO’s are sociopaths (without feelings or remorse) and can make business decisions based only on profit, and have no feelings for the human consequences.
