InfiniteReality's Gen3 Build

Match the bottle to the wheels, and plumb it to a air shifter so it’s useful.

Or one of those led purge kits, neon green led? Put the purge lines in the intake vents, so it come out like a angry bull? I wouldn’t normally suggest that but I mean you gonna have the bottle there anyway and u ordered lines and a gauge......

It's completely ass backwards having a bottle for nothing other than to fill the gap there, lol. I will put a sticker on the bottle that says Got Nitrous? Haha.

On last bike I did a purge and had it filled with CO2. Was a cool, especially with the LED illuminating it. But I learned it's no fun to fill the bottle and rarely used. If I did bike nights or riding with people it'd be more fun for sure. I'll see if I can dig up a video.

Got a pic from Lee at New Image Seats, they're heading my way today

I agree, just the bottle for no reason is kinda retarded lol

Leave it open, less is more

I have one and am currently trying to figure out how to mount it. First thought was coming out of the intake but I'm thinking out the side of the bike somewhere.

Front is now lowered 1.25". Not much difference visually on the triple other than now can fully see the adjusters. Also rotated the forks so the letters were aligned finally.

I commend the ones that have done this or similar with fairings on. Those bottom bolts were a pain even with them off, although I was limited on rotating my front wheel since it's in the chock.

Have to Google how to swap the left grip over. I've done it before but can't remember how.

I have not looked if they have gotten smaller over past decade, but I mounted mine inside the passenger left peg. I did fill the bottle up with CO2 a couple of times, but got to be a pain to remove it, bring at lunch to Academy (at the time) to fill, reinstall. I want it to be for something, but know from last bike I'll never use.

Here's the first and only video I took of it in action.

How long it takes to make the seat? looks good!!

I've wondered this too although I'm not sure how good it'd look on a gen2.

I saw a blacked out gen3 a few weeks ago, it passed me on the highway in my truck.
I actually thought it Was a gen2, until I saw the tail as it went by.
The gen3 has noticeably sharper lines than the gen2 does, but they quickly disappeared with the black out.
This one also had bar-end mirrors.
I've seen another gen3 a few times now at the local Walmart(new store manager owns it), and I can spot it completely across the parking lot...just by the stock mirrors, lol, they really stand out.

Compressed air will get that grip off.

I'm likely never to see one on the road....I think I have the only Hayabusa in the area.

Compressed air will get that grip off.

That's how, I couldn't recall and only kind of remember putting it back on with hairspray or something similar. Thanks!

Spring compressor arrived a day early so maybe can get rear shock back together, on the bike with new lowering links. THEN finally can install the exhaust and let it run for a bit once I wipe it down.

Are you trying to keep the grip(s)? I replaced mine and pulled until they wouldn't pull any more and then just cut them off. Otherwise, the compressed air will definitely do the trick.

I plan to reuse the grips at the moment, just for ease. I should have thought ahead and ordered some I saw in the other thread people were liking, but not terribly concerned.... Have to save a few things to upgrade as time goes on. :)

Amazon can have them to you in 2 days if you have a Prime account. :D

It's not an easy bike to be an idiot on as it's very recognizable for sure.

I wish there were other Hayabusas around here especially a gen 3 so I can give it a look over.

I like the direction @InfiniteReality is going with his bike...it will be unique

Having only seen 4 gen3's in person, and sat on the one, and with the same frame, swingarm, and basic engine, I think we'll find it to basically be what we think it is...a refined and tweaked gen2.
However, as I've said before, I found the gen3 to be more comfortable than the gen2, so there are noticeable changes.
You need to go with one of your buddies to your local 'friendly' Suzuki dealer, ...I'm sure you could have fun haggling with them...lmao
