My take is exactly the same. Slim pickens. We got what we got and will try to make the best of it. Trump’s demeanor these last few days actually gives me hope. Hopefully he can focus on improvements instead of the past.

All this shows is you are willing to minimize what Jan 6th equated to......these weren't innocent people wanting to have a tour of the Capital....they smashed their way in for the sole purpose of stopping the vote.......all spurned on by the guy in the White House and who's back in the White House......

This kind of shows the direction the US is going.........the ONLY reason Biden got elected is because people wanted Trump out of there......memories are short and the democratic party didn't step up to the plate with a better front runner....

Trump is nothing more than a wannabe mafia boss.....he ran the White House like one before and will run it like one again.....as long as his lackies kiss his ring and do his bidding to the letter, they will be ok.....if any of them step out of line just a little.....they are gone....look at how fast he turned on Pence.....he had the crowd so worked up about him that who knows what would have happened to him if they caught him.....all orchestrated by Trump.

The only thing keeping him from dispatching his enemies the same as Putin does are all the eyes and ears on him along with the robust system the US has......if that were to get weak (like he wants it to) all bets would be off.....
