New things I'm learning about new busa

If I recall, I remember reading about Suzuki changing the steering geometry slightly...that might account for the quicker steering.
M2 Gen3 , Same frame from K8-M0 , K8-M0 Yoke # 51311-24F50 ,Same K8-M0 Swingarm , 99ER Dogbones 24F 119mm , 17"Wheels only new type , THE ONLY Diff = Upperplate 12 mm handling position towards ,no clip-on's anymore to fit Heli-Bars . Diff. = Seat height is now 800mm.
I think only rider position is more comfort ,so it feels another bike to ride .

I added the review and they explained why the bike handles better than the other generations...

I know my Bumblebee bike handles pretty darned good..

The dealer called yesterday saying my plaque and the hump are in. I need to go pick it up. I'll have to pay them to ship it to me because the dealer is two hours away. They said to pick it up when I come in to do my 600-mile checkup/oil change. I told them I had been sick and it only had 69 miles on it since I bought it a few weeks ago.

Think i was reading that the first service is 600 miles or 2 months?which ever comes first?

I'll have to call them on that because there is no way I'll be close to 600 miles in another month, I'll try though LOL.

My plaque and hump are on the way from the dealer should get them tomorrow and had to pay $20 shipping. I live 2 hours from the dealer, so popping in is out of the question and it's too hot to ride for me anyway. I'll post a pic with a gold and black Isle of Man tee shirt and my 2020 Aria Isle of man helmet altogether, should look good together! Kinda bummed because I only have 69 miles on the bike cause I have been sick and still kinda sick. I have to get the first service and oil changed even though I got less than 100 miles due to Suzuki says 600 miles or two months, whichever comes first. I asked the dealer for an exception, no exception, gotta do it with 69 miles on it. I'll probably have to trailer it there as it is still 105 degrees here, crap.

I noticed the gen3 is much more nimble. I was used to riding a gen2 and when I fed the usual input into the gen3, it moved much sooner than the gen2. So, I have to learn to feed much less input. This will make it much better in the twisties. I wonder if it is the new style wheels? I know from feedback that carbon wheels change the bike, any bike into a new feeling bike, and is so different. I think is due to unsprung weight? I love the whirr when about 5-7k rpm, sounds like a turbo or supercharger spooling up, sounds so cool, love it!
I found this article about why the bike is more nimble, makes sense. new twin-spar frame on the Hayabusa that lends the finished product a lower center-of-gravity with 50:50 weight distribution between the front and rear axles.

So us Gen 2 owners could technically get the Gen 3 top yoke and bars too....might be a good modification to bring the bars back toward the rider for Gen 2 guys...
Yep , it's only 12mm towards rider position but a bit other , like the most common Heli-Bars users

The FIRST Gen3 owner in UK , did buy a 27mm plate from moto-cnc.uk , becouse on the M2 you can't fit Heli-Bars anymore .

DEEP Link to moto-cnc.uk 27mm plate for M2 GEN3 :

In the beginning before I pulled the pin on my purchase I was concerned about the Hayabusa's weight thinking back to the 90's ZX-11 I learned to ride on...

A friend at work bought it from another co-worker who had just sold it for a new R1 and we pumped $1000 into repairs to get it running right (Zabors in Austin, TX which I think has closed?)

I bought my GSX-R1000 that same year and the ZX-11 was simply no match for it in the handling department. Another friend at work had a Super Blackbird that he used for daily commute but I never got to ride it further than the parking lot and it felt like a Honda if you know that feeling.

The more I ride the Gen. 3 Busa, the more I'm impressed by its handling. Suzuki have really hit it out of the park in that regard and I've yet to turn the intelligent ride electronics off to see how much of a difference they make in addition to the dimension changes and weight distribution.

I only wish the mileage was closer to the Gen. 2 figures.

I called Suzuki USA about the 2-month 600-mile 1st checkup. Told them my dilemma about not feeling well and the bike only having 69 miles on it and what the dealer told me about no exceptions on the 2 month time period which is up on August 28th, a few days from now. They are going to make an exception telling me it makes no sense to bring it in with 69 miles on it and would benefit the bike more to wait until 600 miles were on it. So, they said bring it in at 600 miles and don't worry about the time issue. They noted it on their computer with the VIN number and I think they alerted the service dept at the dealer. One big cheer and star for Suzuki USA. Good to hear from manufacturers like this instead of others trying to get out of warranty work or other issues. Big pat on your back from me Suzuki USA, thanks a million, my friends.

What do (you) have in writing that proves what they said?

It might have been illegal, but I recorded the phone conversation asking names and repeating what they said with them saying yes to all. I've been shafted 2 times here with vendors giving me a price on major items and then when I went to buy, they said we didn't quote you that price, so I recorded it this time. Sounds like there Wuzza, you been there and done that huh? They have done it to me on my pool, and vehicle purchase, bait, and switch.
