Mr. PTR is best in country , for Suzuki , and our beloved Busa . My thing is already mostly there too , but 47t , could also be down to some Dyno difference . It would be good to get PTR to build a motor , like @Dai. white LE , with big cc and HP , just a pain getting the donk there . I a pretty happy to go on with what I got as I think things thru , but good to be Woolich tuned on both bikes for sure .

Both your bikes seem to be putting out good, solid streetable power...perfect power for out patrolling around and having fun....

In my opinion (for what it's worth), I'd just ride them and enjoy what you have....they are already benchmark bikes..

Thanks Sarge , I am happy with their real world performance , and on tap , punting either in and out of turns , both are easily beyond my skill limit , that they each still seems to encourage me to find those limits , gives me lots of pleasure .
I often find myself , in my now later years , taking time out to reflect on how good I have it , and take stock of what is truly important to me .

I guess it comes down to most of the mods have been completed so why not go one step further and build the engine. Basically means it's complete and would take a series bike to beat it which seems to lack over here as many don't invest much into them at all.

I feel you.....

The real answer is if the "toad can see himself out grudge racing around the streets...if you're going to build a bike for a purpose, it should be used for that purpose because if not, why bother?

He has beautiful bikes, it's hard to improve upon them.

In the end brother, you need to be happy and enjoy what you have in whatever form you make it become....if your lust and goal is to have a turbo bike or a heavily built N/A bike then I say go for it...

Like I said in the post above to @Dai can you see yourself out tearing up the streets on a very powerful purpose built bike?

I personally find I can't use even half the power I have as most roads won't take it, they are rough and most times busy.

Or you sneeze, do 20ks over the limit and get a fine and a walk order for a month..
Heck, I can do that now...

Here on roads with an 80kms/hr speed limit or less 40 kms/hr over the speed limit gets you a 21 day suspension, 14 day impoundment, a court date where you can lose your license for up to 2 yrs and up to $10k fine...

On roads 90 kms/hr or more it is 50 kms/hr over the limit..

as we know, our bikes even in stock form can easily exceed this without even thinking about it.

Having the power doesn’t necessarily mean you need to use it every second but it is there at any time.

I ride Hayabusa, I can relate...even in stock form they are a handful as you well know.

If the 'toad pulls the trigger and goes any route, it will be done right and we will be envious.
Unfortunately I haven’t ridden many in stock form, learnt from the beginning that the power becomes stale too quick.

He can ride mine when I come down south.

I will be keeping these 2 bikes normally aspirated , and when each in turn needs a refresh , I will decide what I want done then . I am ticking over 15k km on the Busa , the ZX14R is around 8k km , so Busa be first I guess . I finally ordered a aluminum tank for the old girl , says 10 month wait....
We got a new Motorsport Park , with road race circuit built and a drag strip being built .
I do like the idea of some sort of street drag race bike , in my future .
I also like the offer of a ride on @Dai. big cc 260bhp LE ,

I'm getting the same wait time on wheels so opted to use Otta's contact and hopefully have some Galespeeds before the year is out.

Yoshimura tank?

I'll be bringing her down on my way to ride around Tassie.

Yes Yoshi tank , I was checking out the non badged version , but that is not available , so Yoshi it is .
We can try out a couple of roads , just got to be careful of the cops , extremely cunning lot ,. We can swap you can ride either of my things .

Hi. Have you looked into a fiber glass or CF tank. I have A CF 3 gal tank. I also a 3/4 upper and 1/4 bottom with a 12 inch over tail and a 6 over all fiber glass tail if I ever ride 2 up. The other parts are CF reinforced with some fiber glass. I also have a all CF tire hugger.

Your machine is really an ultra in every aspect of build and design Mike , just everything done right , no compromise accepted , love it . Yes , I looked into carbon tanks , and really no luck there , I have always lusted after a carbon tank , and a fella I know has a beauty he is not selling unfortunately , so I went with the Yoshi endurance tank .
Here is a pic of the carbon one I was seeking , no longer made , or available ...unless my friend sells it too me !!!
