The

This bike is comfortable Willie which I love . I chose this SuperDuke R model for the full performance base , that I could then modify . I pretty much had a choice of either modify my Gen 2 Busa with supercharging or full house build big cc the motor , or buy a Gen 3 , or a Ducati ( maybe next bike down the tack ) . But the KTM always appealed to me , the simplicity of it design , but packed with hi tech . Like a big cc v twin super moto , powerful enough to move my fat ass in good speed , and will handle great too . So I rang Kessners , worked out a deal , and got the ti race pipe and ecu flash , tech pack with quick shifter etc fitted for pick up . Got the Ohlins sprung for my weight , the WP fork is set up as best I can , and i am surpised how good it is , WP is top level , but my weight is what I am talking about . A US racer , fantastic KTM rider , Super

Now the BST are fitted and lightweight tripleclamps , I am looking at some other mods , not for any real need other than I want to do them . A couple of pics of some of the bits fitted so far , and the Yoshi tank .

My goodness, those are some serious upgrades, that fuel tank alone must cost a fortune

Nice stuff bro! You haven't lost your touch. Most knowledgeable go-fast parts guy I know!

Congratulations on owning a ZX14R! Unmolested and with low mileage- a great find. Comparatively to your L2, planning mods show your dedication. Brock or Akrapovi's exhaust options seem exciting. Ride, discover, and let your bike guide you in your mod choices. Wish you a prestigious journey with all of your upcoming motorcycle projects!

Stick around and you'll see.....

Hi Mike , your dedication to your Busa build is unmatched , a most spectacular parts list and attention to maximize weight loss . I am looking forward to updating myself on the builds progress mate . I know you would enjoy the ZX14R for your streeter if it is chosen , I really love my Zed14 .

Hi. My friend has a2016 ZX14 only pipe, filter and ecu flash. It is a little tall for my 5 ft 7 now at 73 about 5 ft 6. It is way faster than my stock Gen 1 was. My daughter has bought a 2023 Indian Scout 1200. We ride togather. Now to get her up to speed so she can ride the Busa. I also have a new girl friend she is 40 years younger than I.

I met a guy a couple years ago who was riding this. He was (such) a rookie rider. He didn’t really know what he had, said he bought it as a favor to someone having $$ problems. He was surprised to hear it was in the same league as my Busa.

Strangely enough, I talked to a guy yesterday who has the same bike and he said it's ugly and beautiful both at the same time.....
I can also see this with this bike , it is truly something very different about it . I have always ridden race replicas and more recently hyperclass style machines , whereas this is a bike that looks like a tall , fat , longish , slim waspish thing , that is at home in twisties , and not so good at town speeds , but always ready to race away with instant motor response anywhere , anytime . I feel like it is my road tired dirt bike , i feel real high off the ground riding it . A real hoon bike for sure .
